Overall Rating
Every manufacturer is shifting its focus to SUVs, trying to distill their essence into a new body style. We believe Aston Martin has done that brilliantly with the 2023 Aston Martin DBX. This model has kept the lights on in the factory and accounts for a large part of their overall sales. Arguably, it also makes the power a lot more usable with its rugged platform and practical layout. There is no debate that it is gorgeous and packed to the brim with technology as well.
This year, there is a more powerful version of the SUV called the DBX 707. The gearbox now gets a wet clutch, unique exterior styling, and a rotary gear selector, among other things. Prices for the super SUV start at an MSRP of $188,986 and it has an equally extensive options list, which might burn a hole in your pocket unless you’re careful. It faces tough competition from the current league of super SUVs that include the Audi RS Q8, the Lamborghini Urus, and the Bentley Bentayga.
The 2023 Aston Martin DBX does not bring you anything unique unless you are going for the more powerful DBX 707 variant. It also misses out on the updated infotainment system that is coming on other model line-ups from Aston Martin. We feel that the changes for the 2023 model year could be better and for this reason, there is no point in not buying the 2022 variants right now.
