BMW hasn’t announced prices for the 2022 model year 5-Series yet. The price tag is expected to go up but not get too expensive. Expect the base 530i to be priced around ＄55,195 to ＄62,745. 540i is expected to be priced around ＄64,445 onwards. 

Meanwhile, 530e is expected to start at ＄58,195. M550i trim which is an absolute beast is expected to be at least ＄77,795.

2022 BMW 5-Series Release Date

The exact date for the 2022 BMW 5 Series hasn’t been released so far. However, it is expected to be released soon this summer.

The base 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine in the 530i has proved to be the most fuel-efficient. The 2022 BMW 5-Series returns 25 MPG in the city and about 33 MPG on the highway.
