Against tough competition from the Mercedes-AMG C 43 and BMW M340i, the Audi RS 3 is a very capable car. It has proven to be on par or better than its rivals and now with the Nardo edition is taking it a step further. The limited-edition model is named after the famous Nardò Circuit in a city with the same name in southern Italy. It's a race track known for being a top speed testing ground and RS 3 Nardo is all about top speed.

The special edition can reach an electronically-limited top speed of 174 miles per hour which is 19 miles per hour faster than the standard RS3. However, it's not just about the top speed it also gets standard RS fixed sport suspension allowing for increased agility and enhanced cornering capabilities on and off the track.
Audi RS 3 Nardo Edition Performance
The Nardo edition is powered by the same engine on the standard RS 3. Audi's 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder TFSI engine produces 394 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The limited model comes standard with a delectable-sounding sports exhaust, which is normally an option on the RS 3. Like the standard 2020 RS 3, the special edition will come with the 7-speed Dual-clutch transmission.

Along with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system the car can go from 0 to sixty in 3.6 seconds.
Audi RS 3 Nardo Edition Exterior Design
It's easy to distinguish the Nardo edition from standard RS thanks to a light shade of gray paint appropriately called Nardo Gray. Grey is not the most appealing color, but the contrasting black trim all around, and red brake calipers visible through 19-inch alloy wheels make it more likable.

The interior of the car also gets a sporty treatment. The car features RS embroidered floor mats and Alcantara knee pads with special red stitching. More red accents are found on the air vents and the seatbelt edges. You can also find carbon fiber inlays throughout the interior. The special edition also comes with an infotainment display which can be used to play most modern games. The 12.3-inch display delivers vibrant color at 60 frames per second with NVIDIA quad-core processing power. It comes standard with the best of Audi’s technology goodies including the virtual cockpit, and an infotainment system with navigation and handwriting recognition technology. In addition, the infotainment system is also compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Audi has slated 200 models of Nardo editions for the US market and the MSRP for the car is $59,900. Now that is almost 4 grand more than the base model RS 3 but all the standard features and the additional 19 mile per hour top speed justifies it. If you want one, you might want to rush to your nearest dealership.
