The Turbo S E-Hybrid trim on both body styles was top of the 2023 Cayenne range and held the most powerful Cayenne title. It made 670 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque. However, the new 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid steals the crown of the strongest Porsche ever as it gets a power boost of 10 percent. 

The 2024 Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid SUV and coupe are powered by a revised plug-in hybrid powertrain. It has an updated 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 engine and a more powerful electric motor. The engine makes 591 horsepower whereas the motor makes 174 horsepower. 

The net output is 729 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. With these figures, the 2024 Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid becomes the most powerful Cayenne in history. According to Porsche, the new plug-in hybrid Cayenne coupe and SUV can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 183 MPH. In addition, the new model features a two-chamber, two-valve air suspension.

Meanwhile, the new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid also gets a bigger battery. The 14.1 kWh battery pack is replaced with a new one with 25.9 kWh capacity. The 2024 Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid also has a new 11.0-kW onboard charger that will charge the new Cayenne in 2.5 hours. That said, the estimated electric range of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid is around 30 miles. 

On the outside, specific styling elements such as larger air intakes, two dual exhaust tailpipes, and glossy black air blades complement the beauty of the new Turbo E-Hybrid. At the same time, the interior has a heated GT Sport steering wheel, leather Sport seats, and many other creature comforts that are standard. 

ll being said, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid is open for sale. As of now, orders can be placed, but you should expect it to arrive at US dealerships by the second quarter of 2024. The Turbo E-Hybrid will be offered in both, coupe and SUV body styles like before. The 2024 Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid SUV starts at $146,900 while the 2024 Cayenne Coupe Turbo E-Hybrid is priced at $151,400. Destination charges of $1,650 are excluded from the base prices.
