General Motors aims to convert the Cadillac brand to an all-electric luxury car brand. In the implementation of the same, we get to see the 2025 Cadillac Celestiq as one of the early offerings. It will go up against the Tesla Model S, as a luxury electric sedan. Official releases have made us aware that this sedan would feature advanced infotainment elements and immense comfort. Speculated to come in a lineup of four trims, the prices are estimated between $90,000 and $120,000. We also are made aware of the GM-developed Ultium battery pack that would feature in the 2025 Celestiq, offering a range of 300+ miles.
2025 Cadillac Celestiq Goes Up Against The Tesla Model S

One of the most anticipated EVs in the luxury segment is the 2025 Cadillac Celestiq, the interiors of which draw a whole lot of attention. However, the audience will have to wait until the second half of 2024 if not until 2025. The Cadillac Celestiq will be an all-new model and the estimates suggest four trims in its lineup. It will start at a price of $90,000 and go up to $120,000. The interiors seem to be promising, offering a large cluster for its infotainment offering. Just like the Mercedes-Benz hyper screen, we can expect something similar here.

In terms of performance there are hardly any specifications out there, all we know is that it will deliver at 300+ mile range. This is because it will see the Ultium battery pack. This is a unique battery technology developed by General Motors that can pack battery cells horizontally or vertically, giving ease in storage. This Ultium battery has a capacity range of 50-200 kWh, so the Celestiq can come equipped with anything in between this.

The four expected trims of the 2025 Cadillac Celestiq are Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and Platinum. The price range of the same will begin at $90,000 dollars for luxury and go up to $120,000 dollars for Platinum trim. However, there is also a possibility that Cadillac comes up with an entirely new lineup, for this is the beginning of their electric era. The 2025 Cadillac Celestiq will go up against the Tesla Model S. The luxury sedan segment is bound to see some tough competition given the presence of these two EVs.

In terms of range, the Model S from Tesla has an offering of 402 miles. We doubt the Cadillac will be able to reach this milestone at the same time we are sure that it will achieve at least a 300 mile range. We will know the exact numbers when we approach the release date of the 2025 Celestiq. As mentioned before, the new generation Cadillac EVs will be made to compete in the high luxury segment and this would mean that the interiors would get a premium upgrade. The 2025 Cadillac Celestiq will be featuring advanced technology and something like the Mercedes-Benz hyper screen.

The interiors will see top-notch premium materials that would include high-grade leather, open-pore wood and metal inserts. The roof size for glass panels which can be adjusted between transparent and opaque. The four panels sit above the four-passenger seats and can be adjusted individually to meet each passenger's need. The seats offered are bucket seats providing utmost comfort with premium materials around. The 2025 Cadillac Celestiq will be produced in line with the upcoming Cadillac Lyriq, which is also a part of the EV revolution for the brand.
