Dodge has created a first-of-its-kind position called the Chief Donut Maker, essentially a Dodge ambassador. The Chief Donut Maker will receive official Dodge merchandise, participate in legendary auto events along with various celebrities, practice at Radford Racing School and receive a $150,000 paycheck. If that was not enough, Dodge will also provide a Challenger SRT Hellcat company car to the Chief Donut Maker for an entire year, yes one whole year!
Dodge has started accepting applications for this exciting position on their official website. Interested candidates have to submit their two-minute long video explaining why they’re best suited for the job, demonstrating their passion, unique charm and creativity. Dodge will select top ten finalists and heavyweight wrestler Bill Goldberg will judge a competition between the top ten Dodge heads. Contestants will go through a series of wild, hot-seat scenarios, including racing a Dodge horsepower heavyweight, of course with a professional driver on closed track.

The entire competition and series of eliminations will be aired like a reality TV show and the final episode will reveal Dodge’s chief donut maker in spring 2022. Dodge is taking applications on January 20, 2022, with a final deadline of February 28, 2022. The candidates are expected to showcase the competing spirit and passion of the founding Dodge brothers. The Dodge Challenger was the best-selling muscle car in the U.S. in 2021, beating arch-rival Ford Mustang.
Dodge has clearly mentioned that the job of the Chief Donut Maker is not a full-time job and the selected candidate can continue with his/her day job. However, the chief donut maker will work as an influencer for the Dodge brand and have the ability to converse and meet with different Dodge engineers. The lucky candidate will also receive official Dodge merchandise and attend different racing events along with participation in the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Tha brand influencer will later share his/her experiences on social media platforms.
Dodge is focussing on the brand with innovative strategies like “Never Lift Campaign” that will drive its momentum through the launch of its first electric muscle car in 2024. The launch of different initiatives like ‘Direct Connection’ for offering performance parts and styling to every Dodge muscle car customer and launch of JailBreak models are a part of the Never Lift Campaign. The campaign will last for two years through 2024 and continue brand momentum.
