Mitsubishi Motors is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in the United States. Mitsubishi has been selling vehicles in the U.S. market prior to 1981 under the Dodge brand name. But in 1981, the company created an official presence for itself in the market as Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, headquartered in Fountain Valley, California.

The Cool Springs Mitsubishi is the newest dealership to open in the 40th Anniversary year and it is located just two miles away from Mitsubishi’s U.S. headquarters in Tennessee. The new dealership is designed with Mitsubishi's new Visual Identity (VI) program and it strives to deliver a modern, convenient and inviting sales facility. Nearly 20 dealerships opened or reopened under this program. The Cool Springs Mitsubishi is the 42nd Mitsubishi dealership to open after the brand shifted its headquarters to Tennessee.

The 2022 Outlander is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four engine making 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a CVT and FWD is standard while AWD is optional. The starting price of the 2022 Outlander is $26,095 and a 2022 Outlander plug-in hybrid model will arrive in the second-half of 2022. The 2022 Outlander competes with the likes of Nissan Rogue, Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento.

The 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine making 152 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The Eclipse Cross gets FWD as standard while AWD is optional. The engine is mated to CVT transmission and the Eclipse Cross sprints from 0-60 MPH in about 8.6 seconds. The 2022 Eclipse Cross starts at a MSRP of $23,695. The 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers stiff competition to the likes of Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-30 and Kia Soul.
