Mitsubishi is ready to rock the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022 event and will display seven different models that are based on “The New Era” and “The New Adventure” themes. Out of the seven models Mitsubishi will also exhibit the Vision Ralliart Concept which essentially seems to be based on the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV model. However, we will get to know more about its exact specifications later. Mitsuibishi is bringing back the iconic ‘Ralliart’ motorsports badge and we are sure many enthusiasts will be excited too.

Just like other Mitsubishi vehicles, the Vision Ralliart Concept was developed to provide complete peace of mind and a comfortable ride across various roads and weather conditions. The Mitsubishi Vision Ralliart Concept vehicle features completely blacked-out styling, giving the base Outlander PHEV model a visually sportier appearance. The front and rear bumpers along with widened front and rear over fenders, offer a bold and muscular SUV styling. The front grille with shutter and large rear diffuser emphasize the sport intentions of the vehicle.

Mitsuibishi claims that the exterior matt-black color shows blue highlights when hit by light, offering a multidimensional visual expression for a high-quality feel and creating a sense of depth. Although we would have liked the iconic bright red and white livery of Ralliart vehicles, the matt-black exterior looks appealing. Mitsubishi has made several modifications to the Outlander model to ensure high driving performance with the Vision Ralliart Concept under different conditions.

The Mitsubishi Outlander is sold as a PHEV model in Japan and comes with an all-wheel-drive system. So, we believe that the Vision Ralliart Concept will offer good off-road capability as well. The Vision Ralliart Concept features a wider stance and is equipped with larger 22-inch wheels and compatible tires. To provide sufficient stopping power, the Vision Ralliart Concept features large brake rotors along with opposed-piston six-pot brake calipers. Mitsubishi claims that the braking system is capable of handling the monstrous torque from the motors. The Vision Ralliart Concept was developed to offer better acceleration, cornering and braking performance.
