The 2011 Acura TSX comes in three variants mainly: 2.4L TSX, 2.4L TSX Sport Wagon, and V6. The 2.4 L is the base trim and starts at a price of $29,610 and includes all the standard features. The 2.4 L TSX Sport Wagon though priced a bit higher because its wagon layout offers the same standard features which are available in the 2.4 L TSX Sedan. The top-end V6 trim is for the power-seekers who want a thrill in their drive.

As per our recommendation, it is a better deal to go with the base 2.4L trim. Though the engine can feel a bit underpowered it has an excellent fuel economy and a long list of standard features that will make your penny count. 

The 2011 Acura TSX is powered by a 2.4 Liter Inline 4 engine delivering 201 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a manual transmission having a front-wheel-drive layout. The Acura TSX comes in two available powertrains and each has its own perks.

The 4 cylinder engine lacks power but offers top of the line fuel-efficiency. The V6 engine however has ample power for passing and accelerating but lacks the fuel-efficiency. 

The Acura TSX is the least powerful vehicle in the segment with the lowest power output. Here, the BMW 3 Series is the winner with its massive powerful engine outputting 230 horsepower. Also, in the battle of top speed, the BMW emerges victorious offering the highest top speed in the segment. 

The 2011 Acura TSX delivers an efficiency of 21 mpg in the city, 29 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg combined. These are the results from the inline 4 cylinder engine which is refined and quite fuel-efficient. The V6 engine variant of the TSX because of its power output suffers slightly in the fuel economy section. The Audi A4 also comes with a 2.0 Liter Inline 4 engine but the engine is much refined and delivers efficiency of 22 mpg in the city, 30 mpg on the highway, and 25 mpg combined. 

Here, the Audi A4 is the most fuel-efficient. The Acura TSX comes second in the line followed by the BMW 3 Series and the Lexus IS. However, the Acura TSX comes with the highest tank capacity of 18.5 gallons which helps to give a range of 389 miles in the city or 537 miles on the highway. 

The interior of the Acura TSX is one of its strongest attributes. The outward visibility is great and all the buttons and controls are within the reach of the driver. Despite having a seat for 5 passengers the Acura TSX is a small sedan. It lacks space in the cabin. 

There is not much room in the rear seats as well and people sitting on them can feel cramped after some time. There is positive tactile feedback from the buttons and controls which makes you feel it's worth the investment. The Acura TSX comes with the highest cargo space on offer followed by the Lexus IS.
