Overall Rating
The Volvo C30 is more than an average hot hatch in almost every aspect but doesn't possess what it takes to become a true "hot hatch".
The 2011 Volvo C30 is a “hot-hatch” that does not compromise on comfort. Powering the Volvo C30 is a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-5 engine that makes 227 hp and does the 0-60 sprint in 6.4 seconds. The power goes to the front wheels. On the interior, there are comfortable seats and have options to add more comfort with the heating feature. There is also a good amount of technology in the infotainment and safety departments. Volvo has priced this at an MSRP of $25,575, bringing this into direct competition with the Mini Cooper S, Volkswagen Golf GTI (2-door), and the Subaru Impreza.
We recommend going for the T5 trim. Both the trims have the same mechanics and the same stand along with options and packages. We do recommend getting the Climate control package and would leave the leather choice to you. We would also say to get the navigation system. Thus, base trim with optional packages is the best option to buy this hot-hatch.
