The GMC Yukon is powered by a 5.3liter flex-fuel V8 motor. The power mill can deliver a maximum output of 335 horsepower and 320lb-ft of maximum torque. The motor can run both on gasoline and ethanol giving an upper-hand at practicality. The motor is powerful enough to carry around the big SUV quite effortlessly, even when fully loaded. The 4x4 layout proves to be quite handy during mild off-roading sessions. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that takes care of the gearshifts seamlessly.

The Chevy Tahoe is the badge-engineered sibling of the Yukon hence comes with exactly the same power output figures however the acceleration times are different though. The Ford Expedition is a bit underpowered but compensates it with a beefy 365lb-ft of torque.
Big and powerful SUVs were never exactly quite fuel-efficient and the GMC Yukon packs in no surprises either. The 5.3liter powertrain and the 6-speed automatic transmission together delivers a reasonable city mileage of 17mpg while out on the highways the number rises to 23mpg. The Combined mileage is rated at 17mpg.

Being a badge-engineered sibling of the Yukon, the Tahoe delivers identical fuel economy figures while the Ford Expedition offers even lower and somewhat disappointing fuel economy figures.
The GMC Yukon boasts a nice and high-quality interior with excellent space and roominess. The seats are quite comfortable with excellent cushioning and the SUV can seat as many as 9 people but the third-row seats are low on legroom owing to the low amount of cushioning. With the third seat upright, the cargo area is very restricted and you wouldn’t be able to fold them completely to the floor. If you remove the seats, the cargo area shoots up to 109 cu-ft which is more than adequate for most purposes.

The Tahoe offers identical interior dimensions as the Yukon but the Ford Expedition is not as spacious as the GM brothers. It offers a lower headroom for the front passengers as compared to the duo but the rest of the dimensions are more or less similar.
The infotainment system onboard the Yukon is quite practical and comes with almost all the basic connectivity and entertainment options to make your life easy. The system includes some standard features such as navigation, Bluetooth, and a USB port.
Some highlighted features of the infotainment system are:
The GMC Yukon looks quite premium and stately from the outside. The large front grille with horizontal stripe design carrying the GMC logo looks quite good and the clear lens headlamps flank it nicely giving the front fascia a “happy” look. The fenders look in sync with the rest of the body without any bulging design. The chrome wheels further add to the premium touch and the rear-end is neat with two triple-barrel tail lamps molded seamlessly on either side.
