We would recommend you to pick up the MKX SUV with the Premium Package or the Elite package to have a wholesome experience with your vehicle.
The Lincoln MKX is powered by a standard 3.7liter V6 motor and is tuned to generate a maximum of 305 horsepower and 280lb-ft of torque. The powertrain is quite smooth and offers a punchy performance with amazing refinement levels. The powertrain picks up the pace quite briskly and offers an acceleration time of 7.3 seconds, an average time for the segment.
The 6-speed automatic transmission is quite smooth too but can be stubborn sometimes regarding downshifts. Flooring the gas pedal makes it drop a gear or two to get going quickly. The ride quality is compliant and the steering is perfectly weighted, offering a complete command over the SUV.

The Buick Enclave has disappointing fuel economy figures considering its performance and power figures. The Acura MDX has decent mileage figures for its power and performance figures.
The cabin of the Lincoln MKX SUV is plush and handsome with contrasting stitches and tasteful aluminum accents. The quality of materials is of premium quality and overall fit and finish levels are praiseworthy as well. The controls are laid out in a driver-friendly manner but the touch interface with a myriad of controls might lag sometimes, making it distracting to use while driving.
The front seats are superbly comfortable while the rear seats are equally comfortable with enough space to accommodate three adults easily. The trunk space is generous too with a capacity of 32.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats. It can further be increased to a maximum of 69 cubic feet by folding the rear seats.

The Buick Enclave has a plush and comfortable cabin too with adequate headroom and legroom for both the front and rear passengers alike. The Acura MDX has a comfortable cabin too like the MKX and the Enclave but falls short in terms of overall spaciousness which is a bit disappointing given its price point.
The infotainment system of the MKX is quite well equipped right out of the showroom and comes with MyLincoln Touch along with Sync electronics interface systems. The system incorporates Bluetooth/iPod interface, a 10-speaker sound system, a CD player, satellite radio, a USB port, an auxiliary audio jack, and an SD card reader. The Elite Package enhances the entertainment system further and offers a 14-speaker surround-sound audio system, HD radio, a hard-drive-based navigation system with 10GB of digital music storage, and Sirius Travel Link.
Infotainment features:
The exterior styling of the Lincoln MKX received quite a lot of criticism owing to the ugly-looking and exaggerated front grille design. All your hate is set to fade away once you set your feet inside the cabin but to a lot of buyers, the exterior appeal does matter a lot.
The front grille has a wing-like design approach and is flanked by a set of slimmed-down headlamp units to balance out the proportions. Apart from the front end design, the rest of the SUV looks quite appealing with a smooth and slightly curvy side profile and a tasteful-looking rear end with chrome-tipped dual exhaust pipes.

The Buick Enclave looks like a blunt and dumb vehicle form the front with a timid look and a chrome front grille. The Acura MDX wears an ordinary design with a tasteful front grille and stylish headlamp units.
The Lincoln MKX offers decent safety levels as compared to its rivals. The NHTSA gave it a 4-star rating while the IIHS gave it a top “Good” rating. The standard safety aids of the SUV are antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags and side curtain airbags.
Safety features:
The Lincoln MKX is quite a value-for-money offering in the segment and has some excellent properties under its skin. It offers a plush and comfortable cabin, a comfortable ride quality, good safety aids, and a punchy performance as well.
