Overall Rating
In the world of midsize sedans, the Mitsubishi Lancer is likely the most honored sedans in the market for its legacy in the World rally championship and its appearance in various fast and furious films.
In the world of midsize sedans, the Mitsubishi Lancer is likely the most honored sedans in the market for its legacy in the World rally championship and its appearance in various fast and furious films. Paul Walker drove the Lancer Evolution 7 in 2 fast 2 furious films, it is the high-performance full-blown version of the lancer. For starters, the Mitsubishi Lancer has a cheerful, and impressive demeanor.
We recommend the mid-trim for its wide variety of optional features and a tweaked engine that produces 20 additional ponies when compared to the base version and it doesn’t get too expensive and it is priced at $19,845. But if you are looking for a car with sporty behavior and more power, then opting for the Ralliart edition is the perfect choice as it produces a whopping 237 hp from a forced induction 2 liter inline 4 engine.

This is where the Lancer evolution comes into its own. It has one of the most powerful engines in its segment and guesses what is the cheapest of the lot. It is such a value-for-money car. It makes enough power to make Lancer a strong competitor in the midsize sedan market. It makes use of a 2 liter inline 4 engine that produces 152 brake horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. Adding to the driving appeal is the standard 5-speed manual gearbox which sends all the power to the front wheel and All-wheel-drive in upper trim levels.
The All-wheel-drive works brilliantly in any sort of terrain and in any weather and it is such a balanced car. All this overall feeling of balance is via an excellent suspension setup. In the Acceleration test, the Lancer is the fastest to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds and clocks a quarter-mile time of 16.4 seconds which is also the fastest in the segment. While the top speed figure is unknown.
