Given how big the car is, the 300hp of power and 270lb-ft of torque aren’t really enough to make the car accelerate like some of its rivals. The engine used in the MDX is a 3.7L V6, which still manages to make the ride on the car a fun one.
It handles the corners with grace, overtakes are brisk even though not superquick. The SUV manages to get past its rivals in both 0-60 mph and quarter-mile timings, completing them in 6.7 seconds and 15.2 seconds, respectively.

The position for the highest power-producing car happens to be a tie between the BMW and the Acura, with both of them making a good 300hp. But when it comes to torque, the BMW certainly has the benefit of +30lb-ft. This higher torque also translates into a higher top speed, which does show in its class-leading top speed of 155 mph.
Despite having a bigger engine and producing impressive power figures, the Acura manages to return 17 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. The city mileage offered by the Acura is better than the competition but it falls short in highway mileage. The SUV manages to offer a fuel tank capacity of 21 gallons, lowest on the table.

Among these cars, the MDX has the best city mileage, but the X5 has the best highway mileage. Even though there are differences in the mpg returns of these cars, the differences are negligible. The highest tank capacity is given by theAudi Q7, with its good mileage, it would make it a more capable cruiser with a longer range.
The interior of the Acura does see some cheap components in it, but the overall appearance of the interior is great and ensures the best experience for the passengers. The base model itself comes with great seats in all three rows.
All three rows enjoy great leg space, with the third row being more cramped than the rest. All the SUVs come with a seating space of 7, except the BMW X5 which offers seating space of 5.

Also, the availability of a back-seat entertainment system also makes it a good companion for long journeys. The SUV comes with an 8-inch display as an infotainment center. Few key infotainment features available with the SUV are-
The Acura MDX looks like a proper SUV that feels more like an elegant option rather than a badass one. So is its actual nature; it's not supposed to be used for serious off-roading.
It is still capable of handling unpaved roads and small trails. Dimensionally it is very close to that of the competition.
