Overall Rating
The Town & Country is a minivan by Chrysler: one of the ‘Big three’ brands in America. It is a Luxurious and Plush minivan for long and short distance travels and a decently handling vehicle.
The Town & Country is a minivan by Chrysler: one of the ‘Big three’ brands in America. It is a Luxurious and Plush minivan for long and short distance travels and a decently handling vehicle. For 2013 this minivan comes with minimalistic changes and upgrades, it also comes with one of the best safety ratings in this segment.
The Town & Country has most features as standard and all the trims are the same under the bonnet and we can see no difference in the appearance either. The difference between the four trims would be the few additional features and the little extra comfort addons that will be offered on the higher price models. We would recommend you to go for the Touring L trim to get the best out of the van at a reasonable price.

Chrysler is offering the Town & country in 4 different trims with the base trim at $30,620 and maxes out at $41,145.The 4 different trims differ only on the price points and do not have any extensive changes between them. All trims possess the same number of standard features and the engine and performance figures seem to remain the same as well.

The Chrysler uses a powerful 3.6L V6 engine that produces a solid 283hp. This engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic with manual transmission to provide the smooth flow of the power and torque. The Electronic Fuel injection system makes sure of helping the engine keep the power going with the correct input of fuel.

It is noticeable that the Dodge Grand Caravan and the Chrysler Town & Country share the engine and all the performance figures while the Honda is down on all the fronts. While there are huge figures for the Dodge and Chrysler against the Honda. The Odyssey might have a chance at the Fuel economy section with its smaller engine and lesser performance figures.
The Dodge caravan might be called the affordable twin of the Chrysler Town & Country, this is mostly because both the makers are owned by the same parent company. The Grand Caravan has everything the Chrysler offers and at a more affordable price.
One of the factors that made this minivan likable was the satisfactory fuel Economy the 3.6L V6 along with the 6-speed automatic transmission makes the car efficient. It has a fuel capacity of 20 gallons and that coupled with the mileage figures gives a 400-mile range on the highway.

The Honda turns out to be the most economical car out of the three and that comes as no surprise since it has the smallest engine and the Chrysler and the Dodge are not too bad either and are just a bit off from the Honda Odyssey. The small engine plates wonder for the Honda in its mileage figures giving it 41 miles more than the other two in range on one tank.
The Town & Country is a minivan and is big and bulky. The interior feels roomy and comfortable too. The cabin is very nicely trimmed and built with quality materials and good design making it look rich from the inside.
The middle row seats can be folded for the need of more cargo space makes it simpler and more usable. The third-row seats may not have ample headroom but they are offered a power-folding option. The legroom on the driver’s seat might feel in short supply due to the pedals being placed closer.

The Grand Caravan and the Odyssey miss out on the luxury of folding seats, these two have the need to remove the middle row seats in order to make room for the cargo. The odyssey has a wider middle row for more comfort and the overall setup in the Grand caravan can be described with the word sporty. Some of the interior features in the 2013 Town and Country are:
The Town & Country is a minivan which is really well equipped with plenty of features for a car of this segment and this price point. The Blue Ray DVD system has been made standard for the rear passengers has become the best head-turning feature. The Navigation system too has been appreciated and is easier to use than its rivals. The other standard features offered include.
The Chrysler Town & Country minivans are long and big vehicles, these cars are spacious from the inside resulting in big proportions on the outsides too. With cars of this proportions in question, there are disadvantages on the road as well.
All three cars here exceed the length of 150”(inches). This makes it a huge problem while navigating through traffic or while reversing as there will be a need to keep a watchful eye on the rear that feels far. The width of these cars is more and that is an issue for the narrow stretches.

The Honda again seems to be the taller, longer, and wider car with a short wheelbase. The Chrysler and Dodge like everything else are perfectly equal in their proportions. But, with the least ground clearance than the Dodge and the Chrysler, the Honda seems like it might scrape its belly too often.
The Chrysler comes with a lot of features as standard across all its trims. In an attempt to help it reach out better than its more affordable sibling (Dodge) Chrysler has brimmed up the Town and Country with too much technology and features, some of which are available in the higher-priced models by other makers.
The Town and Country is a minivan that is focused to pull back the market share from the overpopulated minivan market. In order to do this Chrysler has not only flooded the Town & Country with technology but also with quite a considerable number of safety features too. It has an average 4 out of 5-star rating on the crash test. Below are some of the safety features in the 2013 Chrysler Town and Country.
The 2013 Chrysler Town and Country might be a powerful car and brimming with features, but it is expensive. Whereas, the Dodge is an inexpensive replica of the Chrysler and offers the exact same figures. Although these two are just great, the Honda seems to go unnoticed due to the smaller engine but it outshines the other two in every other aspect and we would recommend that over the premium-priced Chrysler.
