Overall Rating
The 2015 Acura TLX is one of the technologically modern sedans that you would find in the market. The active four-wheel steering gives it great driving dynamics and control.
The Acura TLX replaces the TSX and the midsize TL sedans with the model. The TLX is an entry-level luxury sedan by the brand and offers a mix of drivability and luxury. The cabin is impressively roomy and quiet. It is also quite comfortable for a long commute. This Acura feels nimble and responsive, especially at lower speeds.
Powering the sedan is a 2.4L inline-4 engine or a 3.5: V-6. The inline-4 makes 206 horsepower and is paired with 8-speed automatic transmission along with a front-wheel-drive. The larger engine puts up 290 horsepower and has a 9-speed automatic transmission which can be paired with either an FWD or an AWD. the car competes with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz C 300 Sedan and the BMW 3 Series 320i sedan.
Considering the number of features offered, the Technology package makes the most sense. It also allows the choice of any configuration in the lineup based on preferences. The base TLX with the FWD V-6 engine is also a great offering and can save you some money.

The FWD inline-4 has comparable efficiency to the offerings by both Mercedes and the BMW 3 Series. the Mercedes-Benz C 300 has a large 18-gallon tank which gives it the best in class range of 500 miles.
The TLX gets better interiors than both the TL and the TSX sedan of the previous year. The front seats have great padding and decent support to provide a comfortable seat. The rear seat is also quite comfortable with a perfect seatback angle.
The rear seat headroom will be a bit tight for tall adults, though the legroom is quite spacious. The TLX’s cabin also has some brilliant noise-canceling measures, which eliminate road and wind noise almost completely.

The Acura doesn’t have sleek lines, curves, or coke-bottle shapes on its exterior. The design is much more mature and spec'd with straight lines and simple designs. The front end is covered by a large chrome front grille.
The running lamps are set low in the bumper with the air intakes below them. Along the side, the new Acura TLX is arched and curvy, with an almost Coupe-like profile.
