Since there are no options of trim levels to choose from we would recommend you to have the car with the Display Audio Package and the Leather Package to have a complete experience of luxury.
The Lexus CT 200h is powered by a hybrid powertrain that is a combination of a 1.8liter gasoline motor combined with a pair of electric motors and a nickel-metal hydride battery pack. Together, the powertrain delivers a decent 134 horsepower and 105lb-ft of torque.
The power figures are average and might feel surprising since the brand enjoys a luxury status in the automobile industry. That being said, the powertrain is meant to deliver the maximum fuel efficiency hence the punchy feeling is missing and the acceleration is average with a 0-60mph time of 10.4 seconds. If you drive it in a relaxed manner, it is decent for both city and highway usage as well. The powertrain is mated to a CVT unit that further helps to maximize fuel efficiency.

The Toyota Prius shares the same powertrain with the Lexus CT 200h hence its power and performance figures are similar to the latter. The Ford C-Max has impressive power figures as compared with the Japanese duo but comes at a lower price point.
Fuel economy is what the Lexus CT 200h is focused on and it does it with ease. The hatchback returns a city mileage of 43mpg and a highway mileage of 40mpg. The combined mileage is equally impressive at 40mpg.

The Toyota Prius delivers the maximum mileage figures among the three on the list making it the most suitable one for mileage-conscious buyers. The Ford C-Max has an impressive fuel economy rating too, considering its power output and performance.
The interior of the Lexus CT 200h is far from what its bigger and better stablemates offer since it is more focused on delivering maximum fuel efficiency. The soft-touch materials and the leather surfaces are covered with recycled and sustainably sourced materials, helping to bring down the cost of the vehicle. That being said, the cabin still looks more premium than the mainstream hybrid vehicles and lives up to the brand’s luxury status to some extent.
The gauges and the controls are ergonomically placed and easy to use. The front seats are well bolstered to give a sporty feel and are quite comfortable as well. The rear seats are decent at the most with soft cushioning but feel cramped due to the compact rear dimensions. The narrow rear door openings make ingress and egress a tough task sometimes for adults. Coming to the boot space, there are 14.3 cubic feet of cargo room behind the backseats which can further be increased to 34.8 cubic feet by folding down the rear seats.

The Toyota Prius definitely lacks the premium touch and feel of the CT 200h’s cabin but comes with a solidly built cabin with robust quality interior materials. The Ford C-Max is the most spacious on the list with excellent headroom for both the front and rear passengers.
Interior features of the CT 200h are:
The infotainment system of the 2015 Lexus CT 200h is neither too feature-rich nor it is too ordinary. The standard features include Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, Siri Eyes Free technology, a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, satellite radio, and a USB/iPod interface.
Some additional optional features include a 10-speaker audio system with a six-CD changer, voice-controlled navigation system, the Remote Touch interface, HD radio, and Lexus' Enform app-based infotainment and Safety Connect emergency telematics systems.
Highlighted infotainment features of the vehicle are:
From the exterior, the vehicle looks faster than it actually is by virtue of its overall sporty design language and some sharp styling at the front. The front end of the car features Lexus’ signature Spindle Grille and gets an aggressive appeal and the roofline is quite low at the rear resulting in a cramped rear-seat space.
The side profile looks handsome with a curvy design while the rear-end looks quite sporty too with some quirky design cues.

The Toyota Prius comes with a more practical and straight-forward design, missing out on the premium looks of the Lexus CT 200h. The Ford C-Max looks like any other hatchback from the Blue Oval but has a functional design and a compact design.
The Lexus CT 200h comes with the highest possible “Good” rating from the IIHS but the NHTSA have not tested the car yet. The standard safety features of the hatchback include antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front- and rear-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, and dual-front knee airbags. Lexus' Safety Connect telematics system is standard too including functions like automatic collision notification, stolen-vehicle location, and emergency assistance. A rearview camera and front and rear parking sensors are offered as an optional upgrade.
Highlighted safety features of the car are:
The Lexus CT 200h is a mechanical twin of the much famed Toyota Prius and is aimed at offering an overall better experience than the latter. Except for sharing the same powertrain, the CT 200h has a better overall interior design and comfort levels than the Prius while comes with an excellent exterior appeal too. The only area the CT 200h lacks is the rear seat space which might be a deal-breaker for some.
