Although the Maserati Ghibli is offered only in two trim levels, it is quite hard to pick between them because they both offer very compelling options. On one hand, the price of the base trim, which is $69,800, makes it a decent choice, but at the same time, the S Q4 is significantly more capable due to its all-wheel-drive system as well as its higher tuned engine. This is the reason why it makes for a better pick.

The Maserati does not exactly lead the fuel efficiency figures despite it being very new in terms of technology. It is only a moderately efficient engine, which is rated at 19 MPG combined, 17 MPG in the city, and 24 MPG on the highway, which is not bad for something its size. But when you add the fact that it has a 21.1 gallons tank, it returns a decent fuel range between 358 miles to 506 miles on a full tank of gas, which is way more than necessary.

The interiors of the Maserati are not particularly very attractive. This is due to the use of some very bad quality materials in the switchgear, whereas you find very premium plus materials for its seats, dashboard, and so on. This lack of overall build quality makes one not a big fan of the interiors and hence space can be improved. However, it offers decent storage space as well as cargo capacity.

Compared to this, the Maserati feels a bit cramped. The BMW has the lowest cargo space at 15.3 ft.³ of storage, whereas the class-leading capacity is of the Audi with 24.5 ft.³.
