The 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe comes equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that puts out a maximum power of 355 hp and a maximum torque of 383 lb-ft. The engine's power is transferred to all the wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Tahoe goes from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds flat and crosses the quarter-mile mark in 15.1 seconds, which are pretty good numbers considering the size and segment. 

In comparison, the Ford Expedition is the fastest of the lot. It launches to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds and crosses the quarter-mile mark in 13.9 seconds. The Tahoe gets a ground clearance of 7.9 inches.
