The 2016 Chrysler 300 is a comfort creature car. It has plenty of premium features which we would say you can find in a luxury German sedan without the massive price tag associated with it. There are also two drivetrain options for the car for you to choose from.

We recommend buying the 300 S, it comes with all the basics plus you get better wheels as standard and even sports tuning on the suspension and sharper steering, not to mention the dual sports exhaust which will make everything sound better. We wouldn’t recommend the 5.7 liters Hemi because the base engine is plenty and would say to opt for the AWD system to get a better driving experience.

MY 2016 CHRYSLER 300S 5.7 L HEMI "DREAM CAR"

Pros

Cons

Battery location in trunk, Panoramic sunroof opens 1/2 way

I purchased my 2016 Chrysler 300s as a used car in 2018 and it's only the 2nd car I've ever owned. It has all the bells & whistles aka fully loaded options with a 5.7 L Hemi under the hood. It's has a superb suspension system to compliment that hemi motor and it handles like a dream. It doesn't get good gas mileage, but that's understood when you get a Hemi. 2016 Chrysler 300 Review

Pros

  • Available V8 engine
  • Comfortable interiors
  • Good infotainment system
  • Available All-wheel-drive system

Cons

  • Options are pricey

The power comes from a 3.7 liter V6, and if that is not enough (for you), there is the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 engine which makes more power. There are also two drivetrain options for the car for you to choose from.

Overview

The 2016 Chrysler 300 is a comfort creature car. It has plenty of premium features which we would say you can find in a luxury German sedan without the massive price tag associated with it. There are also two drivetrain options for the car for you to choose from.

Pricing and Features
9.0/10

The Chrysler 300 comes with the options of 4 trims - limited, S, C, C Platinum. All the trims are powered by a 3.6 liter V6 making 300hp and 264 lb-ft of torque. There is an optional 5.7 liter Hemi engine too. There are also two drivetrain options with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive. With many optional extras available on all trims, the car can be customized to your liking. The 300 starts at an MSRP of $33,355.

Engine and Performance
8.1/10

The Chrysler 300 is powered by a 3.6 Liter V6 making 300 hp and 264-foot pounds of torque. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which in its base configuration will direct all the power to the rear wheels. There is the option of changing the drivetrain and getting an all-wheel drive, it is available on all the trims. There is the option of a 5.7 liter Hemi which makes 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque and is available on all trims except for the base trim.

In the performance tests, the Chrysler 300 does the 0 to 60 sprint in 6.3 seconds. It will do the standing quarter-mile and 14.8 seconds, and then it will continue to do its top speed of 155 mph. When equipped with all-wheel drive, the Chrysler 300 does the 0 to 60 sprint in 6.4 seconds and the standing quarter-mile and 14.6 seconds.
