Overall Rating
What’s surprising is that the Huracan has a new seven-speed dual clutch gearbox, even the flagship Aventador has a single-clutch gearbox.
Successor to the best-selling Lambo of all time, the Huracan has a lot to live up to. It has the same 5.2L V10 from the Gallardo but it’s reengineered completely for the Huracan Making more power and torque. The chassis is fifty per cent stiffer because it’s made from a mix of aluminum and carbon fibre.
The LP610-4 has all-wheel drive which is safer and faster. For 2016 the LP610-4 gets the cylinder deactivation technology which is absent in the rear-wheel drive version. Although it’s much more expensive than the base trim but if you are going to spend 6-digit figures on a car, might as well go all-out.

For 2016 the Lamborghini Huracan Coupe is offered in two trims; the LP580-2 is rear wheel drive only and has 580 horsepower. The other trim is the LP610-4 which is all-wheel drive with a 70-30 torque split between the front and rear wheels. There is around $40,000 worth of price gap between the two trims.

The 2016 Lamborghini Huracan may be the automaker's "entry car," but we think it's the best one they make. -The Car Connection
The 5.2L V10 from the Gallardo has been heavily re-engineered for the Huracan and make 580 horsepower along with 397 foot pounds of torque. The neck-breaking jerks you get in the Aventador during upshifts are absent in the Huracan thanks to the seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

The LP580-2 take 3.2 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour and the all-wheel drive Huracan takes only 2.8 seconds to reach 60 which is blisteringly quick. Braking performance is also impressive, From 60 miles per hour the LP-580-2 takes 104 feet to a complete stop.
For the rear-wheel drive version the fuel economy is 14 city, 21 highway and 17 combined which is respectable for a car like this. But what's really interesting is the cylinder deactivation technology in the all-wheel drive version which was introduced this year. While cruising, one bank of the V10 engine shuts down which improves efficiency and also reduces emissions.

Maybe in the future the same cylinder deactivation tech will also be available in the rear-wheel drive model as well.
The Cabin follows the Jet-Fighter' inspired design language that Lamborghini is known for, all the buttons and switches are well laid out and the instrument panel is a single LCD screen the displays every info that you'll need.

Right behind the seats is the naturally aspirated V10 engine that fills the cabin with its exhilarating noises which does get tiring after a while. The Cargo space is next to nothing in the Huracan.
Sleek, smooth, and aerospace-inspired exterior lines pair with angular, aggressive vents and scoops to yield a look that's at once futuristic and reminiscent of the legendary Countach's wedge shape. -The Car Connection
The Huracan may be toned down for more drivability and comfort but from the outside it's true to its brand name and what it stands for. The Huracan has angular and sharp lines all around and retains the wedge-shape.

The Huracan sits low to the ground and combine that with the looks it enhances the aggressive stance even more.
Some of the safety features of the Lamborghini Huracan are-
2016 Lamborghini Huracan Coupe vs. 2016 McLaren 570 S
The McLaren 570S has a twin turbo 3.8L V8 and makes nearly as much horsepower but more torque than the Huracan. In terms of looks the Huracan is more angular whereas the Mclaren is quite the opposite, it's curvier and has smoother lines on the body.
In terms of performance and efficiency the McLaren is a tad bit ahead of the Lambo but it makes it up with the sweet sounding V10. At last, it comes to personal preference whether you like the Huracan or the 570 S, one will be grinning to the teeth while driving any of these cars.
2016 Lamborghini Huracan Coupe vs. 2016 Ferrari 488 GTB Coupe
The Ferrari 488 GTB has more power and torque and performs better in every aspect as compared to the Huracan. But the Prancing Horse badge comes at a higher price than the Huracan.
The 488 GTB also has a twin turbo V8 engine like all of the cars this category other than the Huracan. So if you truly want the noisy naturally aspirated engine there is no other option than the Huracan.
The Lamborghini Huracan lacks the twitchy and somewhat scary character of the traditional Lamborghinis like the Aventador. But what it does that no other Lamborghini has ever done is that it can be driven daily with reasonable comfort. It’s one of the best if not the best Lamborghini of all time in terms of drivability and comfort.
