Overall Rating
As compared to the Prius the CT 200H has a plush interior with premium built quality. In terms of design the CT 200H has a subdued and subtle look that matches its higher price tag.
The Lexus CT 200H is one of very few luxury hybrid hatchback in the market today, the engine is lifted straight from the previous generation Prius but the chassis is shared with a Toyota Corolla. The 2016 Lexus CT 200H is currently in its sixth model year but no significant change or update has been done other than the ‘spindle’ grille that was added a few years ago on all the Lexus vehicles.
This is the most affordable Lexus one can buy and to add unnecessary options to make it expensive would not be the smartest choice. The set of standard features that the CT 200H offers are going to be enough for most of the people.

The 2016 Lexus CT 200H comes in only one trim but you can add a lot of options like the sport package that ads blacked out dashboard, metal pedals, sport seats and some exterior accents. Many of the features comes as standard which is a good thing as the car starts at the price of $31,250.

The 2016 Lexus CT 200h delivers the unusual combo of high real-world fuel economy and some driving fun, but don't mistake it for a hot hatch. -The Car Connection
The CT 200H has the same 1.8L inline-4 as the previous generation Prius and generates a not-so-exciting 134 horsepower coupled with a CVT transmission. The hybrid power-train is slightly underpowered as the acceleration is quite slow, it takes 9.7 seconds to reach 60 mph from 0.

The brakes aren't that impressive either as the CT 200H takes 123 feet to stop from 60 MPH.
The 2016 Lexus CT 200h has a superb 42-mpg combined EPA rating, and we've gotten close to that in real-world use. -The Car Connection
The EPA has rated the CT 200H at 43 mpg in the city, 40 on the highway and 42 mpg combined which is less than its revamped sibling- the Prius. To make up for the less fuel efficiency the CT 200H makes slightly more power.

The rear seat and cargo space of the 2016 Lexus CT 200h are somewhat compromised, but it's quiet and luxurious transport for two people.-The Car Connection
The CT 200H has a well-built premium interior with a lot of features that comes as standard. The Seats are plush and comfortable in the front row but the rear seats are slightly cramped for adults but perfect for kids.

The 2016 Lexus CT 200h houses an attractive, luxurious cabin in a sporty, aggressive shape, but it all works together. -The Car Connection
Since its launch, the CT 200H has the same exterior design language other than the recently updated spindle' grille which is the signature of Lexus. The sporty and subdued look of the CT 200H looks attractive and in terms of dimensions, it is smaller than the Prius which gives it a sportier charm.

Overall, the CT 200H has subtle looks with slight hints of sportiness all around, it looks way more attractive than the Prius which has polarizing looks and a radical design language.
Some of the standard safety feature on the 2016 Lexus CT 200H-
2016 Lexus CT 200H vs. 2016 Toyota Prius Hatchback
As compared to the Prius the CT 200H is more powerful and less fuel efficient. With a combine EPA rating of 42 MPG the CT 200H is still highly fuel efficient but doesn't seem to be when you compare it to the Prius. The increase in power over the Prius is insignificant as well but where the CT 200H outshines the Prius is in its interior, the CT 200H has a more comfortable, spacious and premium interior than the Prius.
2016 Lexus CT 200H vs. 2016 Kia Optima Hybrid Sedan
The Kia Optima has more power, more torque and a better six-speed gearbox but falls short against the CT 200H in terms of cargo space and fuel economy. The cabin has more room than the CT 200H because the whole car has greater exterior dimensions.
But the Optima offer tremendous match of efficiency and performance which makes it a better car than the CT 200H or the Prius.
The CT 200H is the car to buy if you want a hatchback which has an upscale interior, attractive looks along with supreme fuel efficiency.
The CT 200H has sportier feel to it but the performance contradicts that, however, considering the fuel efficiency it provides the performance is still impressive. Some of the disadvantages it has against its rivals is less cargo space, outdated infotainment and slightly cramped rear seats. Overall, it is the most affordable Lexus on the market and offers a lot for its price.
