The 2016 Lexus RX 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine is rated to produce 295 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque, all of which is sent to the front wheels as standard, but has the option to choose for an all-wheel-drive system.

The performance is decent for its class and is nothing exceptional. The RX 350 is also not the most powerful in this comparison. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 7.3 seconds, while the quarter-mile distance is covered in 15.4 seconds which makes it the slowest car in this comparison. The Lexus RX 350 has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. which is pretty good. 

The 2017 Cadillac SRX is the most affordable amongst the cars present here and is more powerful and quicker than the Lexus but lacks in terms of towing prowess. The 2021 Lexus RX 350 interior is quite decent. It does get an old-school vibe from it with the dual-tone brown trim color. The Lincoln MKX has the largest trunk capacity even with all the seats in use and also has the most spacious rear seat in this comparison, although it does compromise a bit on the front seat legroom. How is the 2016 Lexus RX 350 SUV’s infotainment system?

The 8-inch infotainment system can be upgraded to a much sharper looking 12.3-inch unit which although has good graphics, the joystick-like controller of the Remote Touch electronics interface although is better than the touchpad found in the Lexus NX and RC, but is still irritating to use and needs a lot more attention and hence becomes to use while on the go.

The 2016 Acura MDX is the longest SUV in here and yet weighs the least at 3960 pounds. It also rides lowest to the ground at just 5.6-inches. The Cadillac SRX seems to be quite compact in terms of exterior dimensions.
