The 3.8L V8 is common across the whole McLaren lineup. In the 570 S, it generates 562 horsepower and 443-foot pounds of torque. The seven-speed automated manual transmission is swift and smooth. As compared to the competition this is not the most powerful car but this is surely the most thrilling of the bunch.

Although it is not the most powerful car, the 570 S is the quickest to reach 60 MPH at just 2.7 seconds. The brakes are also massive and can stop the 570 S from 60 MPH in just 97 feet.

The fuel efficiency is adequate for a car like this. The EPA has rated the McLaren 570 S at 16 mpg in the city, 23 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg combined.

The 570 S from McLaren is a tough rival of the Ferrari, the Ferrari feels more traditional while the McLaren feels more sophisticated while driving, it also lacks the sound the 488 GTB makes.

In terms of design the 570 S looks futuristic and unique and can be spotted from far ahead whereas the 488 can easily be mistaken for a 458.
