Honestly, the Lexus is head and shoulder above the rest under this parameter. A difference of 1.5 liters in the engine capacity leads to additional power. The plus point is the Lexus GS 350 is similarly priced to the competition and comes with a bigger and more powerful engine.
The Lexus is never known for its fast acceleration. However, the engine difference does wonders here. The Lexus takes 5.5 seconds to cover 60 mph and 14 sec to cover the quarter-mile and will continue to its top speed of 130 mph.

All the other three are way behind the Lexus, with the BMW in at second with 6 seconds, while the Cadillac is a little behind at 6.3 seconds. The Audi comes last with a time of 6.4 seconds. The quarter-mile column follows a similar pattern with the Lexus leading, then comes the BMW followed by the Cadillac and the Audi.
If you compare the ride quality of this mid-level sedan with a top-level one, there is hardly any difference. It does most things right, kudos to the engineering department of Lexus for that. The handling is slightly lighter than we would like but might be perfect for a lot of people. If you get the F-sport package, the steering response is sharpened, it’s regular driving the steering is still immediate. The all-weather tires offer a magnificent grip in wet conditions too. It is also very agile around the corners and smoothes on the highways.
The 2018 Lexus GS 350 comes equipped with 13.1 front disc brakes and 12.2 rear disc brakes. They are big enough to bring the sedan to a stop from 60 mph in 109 feet. The brakes are vented or ventilated and also have the feature of ABS and Brake Assist.

The 2018 Lexus GS 350 Sedan gives a mileage of 20 mpg in the city, and 28 mpg on the highway. With a combined mpg of 23, it is fair to say, these figures are just about the worst in this category.

The infotainment system in the Lexus GS 350is definitely easy on the eye and easy to use too. The interface is interesting and the speaker volume is magnificent as well. The system is not a touch screen but has buttons, which is good.
Some of its basic features are:
The 2017 Lexus GS 350 has a trunk capacity of 14.3 cu-ft., which is average. However, the trunk of the Lexus can easily hold a few duffle bags and large suitcases. However, space cannot be expanded as the seats do not fold down.Â

In terms of dimensions, all the above cars are similar. The main difference can be seen in the curb weight where the Lexus GS 350 sits comfortably in the middle, even though it comes with a bigger engine it is still as light as its competition.
The Lexus GS 350 has not yet been rated by the NHTSA. The IIHS has completed some tests where it has scored “good” in all of those. However, Lexus does install a lot of safety features in the GS 350. Some of these features are:
The Lexus does have a better engine, although the power outputs are still comparable. The Lexus has better space and comfort on the inside as well. The fuel economy can be called at par, while the BMW 530i does have a bigger trunk. However, with a better engine and space on the inside, that too at a lower price and the Lexus is the definite winner in this comparison.
The comparison with the Audi A6 follows similar lines with that of the BMW. The Lexus does have a bigger engine, and better acceleration too. The space on the inside is greater too. However, Audi does have its trademark comfort to boast of.
Still, a lower-priced and better engine possessing Lexus GS 350 is the winner here.
The Lexus easily owns this comparison. The engine output, acceleration, braking, space on the inside, everything is way better in the GS 350. The Cadillac CTS does have a minutely better fuel economy though. However, the Lexus GS 350 is the deserved winner here, that too by a mile.
The 2018 Lexus GS 350 is definitely a talented multi-featured car that truly owns this mid-level sedan segment. It has got a great engine, with a great power generation and a stylish exterior. The ride quality and handling are very smooth too. The price at which it comes is a definite plus too. However, the price range at which it comes, with the features on offer does make the Lexus GS 350 the pick of this segment.
