After getting a couple of minor upgrades in the model year 2019, the 2020 Acura NSX carries on unchanged from the previous model year. However, to keep things interesting, Acura has introduced a new Indy Yellow paint option for 2020 NSX that is inspired by the original 1991 NSX. The Indy Blue becomes the second heritage-inspired colors for the Acura NSX after the Berlina Black.
The prices of the 2020 Acura NSX starts from $159,495. This is excluding the destination fee of $1995. "The NSX’s performance is both raucous and responsible." - TheCarConnection
The 2020 Acura NSX gets a 3.5L twin-turbo hybrid V6 engine under its hood that churns out a healthy combined output of 573 horsepower on tap and 476 lbs.-ft of torque. The 2020 Acura NSX hybrid powertrain enables you to drive the sport spec hybrid supercar through Stop-and-go traffic largely under electric power, and racetracks can be challenged with utmost confidence and surprising efficiency.
Speaking of the hybrid-electric powertrain, NSX gets 236hp from the pair of two electric motors which powers the front wheels while a 47hp electric motor along with V-6 and 9-speed automatic transmission drives the rear wheel, forming an effective AWD system. NSX's 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is slick to respond to gear changes while the steering-mounted paddle shifters add to the joy of changing gears.

Talking of the rivals, the Jaguar F-Type SVR gets the biggest engine in this class and stands the tallest among all its adversaries. All the other supercars in this segment have nearly the same power figures. However, the NSX isn't far behind either with 573 ponies. The Porsche 911 Turbo although ranks last with 540 hp.
Courtesy of the electric motors, there is plenty of instant torque which results in exhilarating acceleration. The 2020 Acura NSX charges to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds flat, keep the right foot planted and the NSX will clock the quarter-mile lap in 11.2 seconds. Flat out, the 2020 Acura NSX can reach a top speed of 191 mph.
The 0-60 mph lap timings of all these supercars are magnetic enough to drool the purists around the world. The Nissan GT-R track edition with a 0-60 mph of just 2.7 seconds matches the Acura NSX, while the big and bulky Jaguar is the slowest of the lot. The 911 turbo easily manages under 3 seconds time to go from 0 to 60 mph.
Acura has tactfully placed in a hybrid motor in the NSX supercar for extracting the best of both, MPG figures and superb performance. The 2020 Acura NSX returns EPA estimated 21 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway, and 21 mpg combined - one of the Best numbers for a supercar but less so for a car with advanced hybrid technology.
The 2020 Acura NSX gets a 15.6-gallon fuel tank capacity which lends it a highway range close to 350 miles. The NSX also benefits from the effective use of regenerative braking and electric motors which maximizes driving performance and optimizes gas consumption at the same time.

The 2020 NSX delivers an impressive 21 mpg in the city which puts behind the likes of Nissan GT-R Track Edition and Jaguar F-Type's 16 mpg in the city. However, the GT-R track edition matched the NSX's 22-mpg rating on the highway. The Porsche 911 Turbo beats the NSX on the highway with a 24-mpg rating.
"Touted as the everyday supercar, the NSX is certainly comfortable and intuitive enough for just about anyone to use as a daily driver." - Car and Driver
The Acura NSX's interior intensifies its a pure breed race coupe character, as you drop low into the seat as you enter the NSX. What's more, the outside view is exceptional, thanks to the incredibly skinny A-pillars. Acura achieved the feat by utilizing the world's first 3D built ultra high strength steel in the A-pillar. Acura flaunts the NSX as its daily driving race car, truly distinct.
The NSX's interior borrows a lot of switch-gears from other Acuras. The Acura NSX interiors are not as luxurious and plush as one would expect. Also, for such a high price point and relatively premium, Acura NSX is a let down in terms of the upscale feel. Yet, all is not bad as the seats are remarkably cushy and comfortable for long-distance driving.

Elsewhere, you will find plenty of swooping surfaces that can be covered in either supple semi-aniline leather or tactile Alcantara leather. Like every modern supercar, you can also opt for the carbon fiber trim. We are not big fans of the amount of space on offer in the Acura NSX. Moreover, the NSX rivals feel a little more spacious and tend to offer a bit more airy feel, courtesy of their big windscreens and windows.
The 2020 Acura NSX offers a 4.4 cubic feet trunk just behind the see-through engine cover and that’s about it. In other supercars, a trunk is provided under the front bonnet with better storage capacity.
The 2020 NSX comes equipped with a 7.0-inch infotainment system, borrowed from the lesser Acuras. The outdated touchscreen interface and lack of redundant controlling options make it difficult to use the infotainment system. Amplifying the challenge is the touch-sensitive controls that require special attention to find precision settings.
To your support, the system features in-built navigation and comes integrated with the ELS Studio nine-speaker audio system. To your respite, the integration of Android Auto and Apple Carplay comes standard. Mirroring technology is quick to respond and makes life much easier. However, the options list is bleak with just the satellite radio being prominent.
The following are some of the interior and infotainment highlights of the 2020 NSX.
"To its credit, the 2020 Acura NSX isn't as common as some of its rivals, giving it more of a sense of rarity and turning more heads." - Edmunds
While the original NSX was a design icon of the ’90s, the new NSX follows the trend and intends to create a similar impression with its design language. The 2020 NSX is a comprehensive compilation of the best parts from the best supercars that have surfaced in the industry to date. The NSX exteriors look radical from all angles and the curves remind us of the supercars from the past.
The low ground clearance furnishes a low stance to the coupe, seemingly an athletic stance that is all set to race. There are big air intakes in the front that add to the down-force by sucking-in the air for the twin-turbo V6.

The rear end of the NSX has similar air dams that filter out the air from the front and accentuates the down-force. The neatly designed LED taillights look well in place and add to the aesthetics of the NSX. The NSX has a relatively lower height when compared to its rivals and this gives it an added advantage on the aerodynamics and handling front.
There are plenty of features on the outside of the Acura NSX that will keep onlookers hooked to the supercar, as it moves past them. While there are a lot of features that provide the NSX a high head-turning quotient, here are a few of those:
The Acura NSX has not yet been tested by NHTSA and IIHS yet and it is likely that the car will never get tested. The NSX comes with a defined chassis that is capable of protecting its occupants in case of multiple rollovers.
The Acura NSX offers a decent array of safety features for the safety of its occupants inside. You get the usual suspects like traction control, brake assist, ABS, EBD, and others. The safety and driver-assistance tech is adequate in absolute terms but relatively the safety features list seems quite limited. W
These are a few of the highlights in terms of safety and driver-assistance technology inside the Acura NSX:
The F-Type offers legacy, performance, great handling, and features as well. However, it isn’t as frugal or as well built or put together as its Japanese counterpart.
The NSX, on the other hand, carries a rich legacy behind its back and drives like a proper supercar on the track as well as on the roads. Leave aside some of the luxuries that you see in the Jag, only to be mesmerized by the performance of the NSX.
The GT-R Track edition sharpens the already Potent GT-R. The GT-R feels like it will rip your neck apart on the track and push you back on your seat while accelerating. The comprehensive stats on offer from the dashboard of the GT-R is miles ahead of any other sports car in the market as well.
The NSX, on the other hand, matches the GT-R in most aspects but does it, in a more eco-friendly way. The NSX is as good a handling package as the GT-R but it asks a premium of over 20K over the GT-R and which is why the GT-R has a clear edge over the NSX.
The Porsche 911 Turbo is the driving benchmark in the world in terms of the best driver’s car. With the new turbo, Porsche is offering both performance and handling and it still continues to be the best driver’s car in a more powerful avatar.
The NSX, on the other hand, is a superb handling machine that can be used in both the cities and the tracks, and the best part is its hybrid powertrain, making it future-ready.

2020 Acura NSX Vs 2020 Chevy C8 Corvette.
The Acura NSX is undoubtedly fast with the agility of the Japanese ninja. Apart from being frugal, NSX comes loaded with adequate features with one of the best appeals. Acura NSX does everything in style, backed by functional performance. However, we do feel that Acura should have offered some more luxury on the NSX for its asking price.
But for what it offers, we do feel that Acura will still suit the taste of the true sports car purist. If we are to talk about NSX's value for money, in an absolute sense it is a pretty good everyday sportscar, that can be a roadrunner and track stripper.
