"The 2020 Urus feels athletic from behind the wheel, too, with quick steering and stable high-speed cornering." - Car and Driver
The 2020 Lamborghini Urus is powered by a 4-liter V8 engine assisted by a twin-turbo setup. The engine is capable of pumping out an impressive 641 horses at 6,600 RPM and 627 lb-ft of torque at 2,250 RPM. This wide powerband results in the Urus being able to tackle both highways and city traffic with ease.
Mated to the Audi RS Q8 borrowed V8 is an 8-speed automatic gearbox unit. The gearbox feels smooth and efficient. Put your foot down and the Urus downshifts in the blink of an eye. Unlike the single-clutch unit in the Aventador, the Urus feels very smooth and linear with its gear shifts. In terms of power delivery and engine feel, the Urus feels very linear and constant.

The Range Rover SV Autobiography gets the largest-in-class supercharged 5-liter V8 motor, still manages to produce less power than the Urus. Even the much anticipated 2020 Aston Martin DBX is powered by a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 capable of producing no less than 542 horses and 516 lb-ft of torque.
The Bentley Bentayaga shares the same engine, with the Urus and the DBX but in a different state of tune. Where the Bentley is tuned for comfort and extremely linear power delivery, the Urus is much more brutal.
Acceleration is where the Urus shines. The twin-turbo V8 manages to propel the Urus from 0-60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds. This is a figure that only supercars could achieve until a few years back. The Urus manages the quarter-mile sprint in 11.4 seconds and flat out, has a top speed of 190 MPH.
When compared to the direct rivals, the Urus manages to outrun everyone, and that too by a margin. The Range Rover does the 0-60 sprint in 5.4 seconds, which might be the slowest in the segment, but considering it's a hefty SUV, it's not bad, not bad at all! The DBX's 0-60 timings and the Bentayga's 0-60 timings are at par with 4.4 seconds.
When you talk about the Lamborghini, you don’t talk about fuel economy! The 4-liter twin-turbo motor is an absolute gas guzzler. It returns 12 miles to the gallon in the city and 17 on the highway. Combined, the Lambo Urus gives 14 miles to the gallon. Floor the throttle and these numbers will fall even more.
Furthermore, the 2021 Lamborghini Urus has a fuel tank capacity of 19.8 gallons which lends it a combined range of 277 miles. This means that refill stops are going to be frequent when you decide to take the Urus out on a long road trip.

None of these vehicles are essentially fuel-efficient- they barely manage to get over the 15 miles per gallon mark (combined). Having said that, this is what is to be expected of these vehicles. The Urus is the least fuel-efficient, Rover follows behind with 14/19/16 miles per gallon for city, highway and combined respectively. Surprisingly, the Bentley Bentayga performs the best in terms of fuel economy with 14/20/16 miles per gallon.
"Hexagonal design elements are a clear familial trait shared with the Huracan, while the jet-fighter starter flap on the center console has become somewhat of a signature for the Lamborghini brand." - Carbuzz
The Urus can be opted to be a five-seater with a bench seat in the back. Lamborghini has ensured that the Urus looks and feels astonishing even inside. It offers a combination of exotic materials insides like leather, Alcantara, wood, and even carbon fiber. The luxurious and modern cabin space is right up there with some of the industries best such as Maybach and Bentayga.
The front seats offer a lot of space to the passengers. The bolster on the front seats is pretty adequate and figures out how to hold the passengers in place. Finding a perfect driving position is also really simple as the seats offer a lot of adjustments and the steering is also adjustable for both reach and rake.
Not simply the front seats, even the back seats offer a lot of comfort and adjustment. On the off chance that you choose to go for the captain seats in the back, you'll be more than happy. Indeed, even the back seats are warmed and ventilated. Lamborghini has truly made all the strides with regard to comfort and interior quality.
The Urus figures out how to use interior space extremely well. The all-glass sunroof just makes the cabin feel roomier. What is great is that in spite of having an all-glass roof, the Urus offers a lot of headroom to its back seat travelers.

The 2020 Lamborghini Urus offers impressive cargo space of 21.8 cubic feet. The 3 seater bench seat can be folded in a 40-20-40 manner. With the back seats completely folded down, the Urus has 56 cubic feet of trunk capacity
As far as interior storage is concerned, the Urus offers a decent amount. There's a respectable cubby hole in the front seats. It is sufficiently large to hold your cell phone and other individual items such as wallets. For door pockets, the front door pockets are of a decent size.
The Lamborghini Urus has an adaptation of Audi's MMI infotainment system which is truly one of the best in the business. Even the driver's information screen is a form of Audi's Virtual Cockpit. All of the screens in the Urus feel extremely sharp and solid and can be utilized to do a large number of functions.
There are two screens on the center console one of which is used to control the AC unit. The four-zone climate control is extremely useful and enables every single passenger to set their own temperature and fan speed. The back seat passengers also have their own screen that enables them to change their temperature settings.
Some of the prominent interior and infotainment features on the 2020 Lamborghini Urus include-
"And then there's the styling. While the performance is an awesome headlining feature, it's the outlandish styling that could very well win over potential owners." - Edmunds
When Lamborghini first came out with the concept of the Urus back in 2012, it raised a lot of eyebrows with its styling. It looked like an Aventador on steroids. When the actual Urus came out in 2017, they had changed a lot of things and one of them was the look of the vehicle. It was a little calmer and more subtle than the concept. Having said that, the Urus is still a Lambo and it lives up to the Lambo design language. It is still full of sharp edges and curves.
As far as the front design of the Urus is concerned, it was still controversial with its front camera placement. Apart from that, the Urus looks exactly how a Lamborghini is supposed to look like. When we talk about the side profile of the vehicle, it looks muscular and curvy throughout.
The wheel arches complement the complete styling of the Urus. Fitting an SUV with a 23-inch set of wheels is exactly what dreams are made of. Although there was one thing that bugged us a lot and that was for the price of 200 grand, there surely was a lot of fake vents, which considering it was a Lambo was a shame. The tailgate and the rear bumper are accompanied by a stylish set of tail lamps that make the rear look very stylish and modern.

Exterior dimensions don’t really matter with these vehicles- they are big. That is the only way to put it. Yes, it is a little intimidating to drive the Urus around towns but that is the case with each and every other vehicle in this segment. But these dimensions have their own advantages as well. They offer “go-anywhere” confidence. The 8.7-inch ground clearance of the Rover allows you to take the dirt road without even thinking once.
Some of the most noteworthy exterior features of the 2020 Lamborghini Urus are-
How safe is the Bentley Bentayga?
The Urus is definitely one of the fastest SUVs in the world but Lamborghini has not cut any corners when it comes to safety and as expected from a car at this price point, the 2020 Urus is loaded with safety features. The main safety testing facilities have yet not tested the SUV from the Lamborghini lineup and thus at this moment, nothing can be said about how safe it is.
The cluster of active and passive safety features on offer in the 2020 Lamborghini Urus is nothing short of impressive. Some features included as standard are-
The Land Rover Range Rover SV Autobiography has been around for a very long time now and has been one of the most respected SUVs in the world. You get a strong road presence, heart-thumping performance, and tons of space in the Rover. Land Rover after a long time has certainly got a worthy contender that upholds the same balance of performance and sheer luxury as the Urus.
The Lamborghini Urus, on the other hand, offers a supercar-like performance in the shape of an SUV. It outshines the Rover in any aspect but really falls down when it comes to the off-road capability. Both the Urus and the Range Rover SV Autobiography are priced similarly. Now it's your call whether to go for extreme opulence or brute performance
The Bentley Bentayga has been the epitome of British engineering in an SUV. The Bentayga screams luxury the moment you step inside the cabin. Couple to that its superb design and build quality and what you have on your hands is a remarkable SUV that will leave you smiling always.
The Lamborghini Urus, on the other hand, screams performance from the moment you drive it. If performance is what you are looking after, the Lamborghini Urus will suit your bill best but for everything else, it's the Bentayga that should be worth your Cash.
If you want performance with plenty of comfort, practicality, tech, and safety, the 2020 Lamborghini Urus can be the perfect all-round vehicle. The only downside- its price. The Urus is much more expensive when compared to the competition. It is so expensive that one might start considering the Bentayga Speed. Having said that, this Lambo performs pretty well overall, especially the driving modes which are an absolute treat. So, if you want a supercar with daily driving abilities, the Urus is the one to go for!
