As per our consideration, the base variant works just fine as a daily driver and a standalone vehicle. We would recommend adding a few driver assistance features and the Bose Sound system to make it a complete value for money offering.

The 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe engine is a 3.0L turbocharged V6 in the base variant which can churn out an adequate 335hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. Driving the car is pretty easy if you have the relevant experience of handling such a heavy and powerful vehicle. The attention towards controlling understeer in the car is extraordinary and the adaptive suspension system does a remarkable job in keeping the car stuck to the road at all times. The Turbo models get an upgraded adaptive Air Suspension system.

Tucking into a tight corner and making it stick is a different story altogether because there is no turn where the Cayenne Coupe feels out of its depth. If you are someone who prefers bursts of performance even in your daily driving spree, then make sure to get an upgrade to Ceramic Performance Brakes which will set you back around $7,000. Oversteering the car is not at all a problem and the Coupe does an amazing job at exhibiting that every time you need it to. Steering responses offered by the car are also very evident and makes you understand the car all the way better. The love that goes into making this car can be seen all across during the driving.

When you are paying such a premium price, you do expect some practicality along with luxury. Considering that the Porsche Cayenne Coupe fuel economy is the same as the Cayenne, comparing it with other cars of its segment, is when you get the real picture.

Though the expectation of an improvement does exist, the figures are quite satisfactory.

The 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe has one of the best fuel economies in the city and on the highway in contrast to its competitors. The BMW X6 takes the cake with the most fuel-efficient engine but that does not deter the Porsche.

Enter into the 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe and you won’t see any change from the standard Cayenne. The entire upholstery is made with premium quality hand-stitched leather. The use of plastic is kept to a bare minimum and only metal, glass and leather adorn the entire interior. The front dash houses the A/C vents and the 12.4-inch Touchscreen infotainment setup.

The steering wheel is suede lined and is very comfortable to hold. Behind the steering wheel, the brand has retained the usual analog-digital combo look to grant a sporty character. The center has the RPM meter which is analog and the left and right side of the driver display are digital screens that display the various info about the car.

Seating is pretty comfortable and there is no complaint about the roominess of the entire cabin. Getting in the back seat is no different from the SUV Cayenne despite the sloping roofline. Now, the key thing here is that the rear seats have been lowered to make more headroom in the back seat to adjust to the sloping roof. The roof is perfectly spaced from average height passengers but tall people over 6 feet might find a bit of an issue. What about Cargo Space?

Cargo compartment takes a hit when it comes to the Cayenne Coupe. The car offers a sizably smaller compartment as compared to the standard Cayenne SUV due to the sloping roofline. That being said, the car has enough space to fit two large suitcases, a baby buddy and two small suitcases which is adequate for a weekend getaway with your wife and two kids and each one having their own luggage.

The car also features under-the-floor storage in the cargo compartment which is for the spare tire. If you do not get the spare tire, you can use it as additional storage which is also quite big. The seats in the rear are 40/20/40 foldable and can drop down to provide additional space to the cargo compartment. While the seats don’t match the floor level, they are still comfortably low. So, with the seats down, you can have space for up to 3 large boxes and 10 small boxes.

The rear seating is for 2 people by default which means that the center area in the rear features cup holders, and mobile phone storage space. Door pocket compartments are also quite big with actual usable space and you can carry a big water bottle and daily travel supplies in each door. There is also an option of lowering the ride height of the car in the cargo compartment so that you can load stuff in the car easily.

The 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe design is the classic SUV in the front and the Coupe added to the back. Now, for everyone, it is either a hit or a miss. There is no in-between for this type of body structure. If you have apprehensions, then this car is not for you probably.

Having said that, the car has a very macho stance yet maintains the suave look of its SUV older brother. The front end is exactly the same as the Cayenne SUV with a blacked-out grille and the front parking assist camera in the center of it.

Move around to the side and you will see the Cayenne Coupe in its full glory. The roofline is appealing and adds a different dimension to the car. The rear door is different because of the shape of the back and the car rides high at 8.1 inches like the Cayenne.
