However, all the other rivals like 2021 Infiniti Q50, 2021 Genesis G70, and 2021 Jaguar XE did the same in more than 6 seconds.

The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia is also a dynamically brilliant car due to the stiff suspension on offer coupled with one of the sharpest braking performance we have seen from a mid-size sedan. The front rotor is 13-inches in size and the rear rotor is 12.5-inches. Along with that, there are also other braking features like brake assist, hill hold control, and electronic parking brake. The steering is also razor-sharp and the feel and feedback on offer from this electrically assisted rack are next to none.

With the AWD setup, the 2021 Giulia extracted a slightly lower combined rating of 26 MPG, which is also quite impressive in comparison to the competitors.

With the fire breathing 2.9L twin-turbo V6 under the hood, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio managed to provide a lower 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway, with a combined rating of 20 MPG. For a car with a sporty pedigree, the Guilia Quadrifoglio provides quite a decent gas mileage in comparison to its arch-rivals like the 2021 BMW M550i and 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback.
Though the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia managed to post one of the best fuel efficiency numbers, the 2021 Jaguar XE surpassed Alfa with combined gas mileage of 28 MPG. However, all the other rivals underperformed in terms of fuel efficiency with 2021 Mercedes-Benz C300 and 2021 Infiniti Q50 giving out a combined rating of 26 MPG and 25 MPG and the 2021 Genesis G70 giving out the lowest 23 MPG.
"While its interior design is less inspired than its boisterous exterior, the Giulia still offers an upscale experience complete with plentiful amenities and a driver-focused layout."-Caranddriver.com
The 2021 Alfa Romeo comes in ten different interior color options, with black and tan color combination coming as standard. However, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA sports a full black interior with red contrastive stitching. The Ti Sport trim also comes with more features like leather upholstery, wireless charging, heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control airconditioning, 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and many more too. For an additional $2,300, you would get the Premium Package which sports much more enticing interior, infotainment, and audio system features.
The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia comes with impressive front-seat space with adequate headroom, legroom, and shoulder room on offer, making it quite a spacious place to be even for the largest and tallest of Americans. However, the rear seat space was found to be quite mediocre due to a below-average shoulder room and legroom of 53.6-inches and 35.1-inches, which is lesser than the 2021 Infiniti Q50 and 2021 Jaguar XE. Nevertheless, the 12 cubic feet of cargo space on offer from the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia is quite decent in comparison to the best-in-class 13.2 cubic feet on offer from the 2021 Infiniti Q50.

Even though the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia is one of the tallest and widest sedans of the mid-size executive luxury sedan segment, it still manages to cut its weight in comparison to many of the competitors, coming in at 3,498 lbs. In comparison, most of the competitors like the 2021 Infiniti Q50 and 2021 Genesis G70 managed to come out with a higher curb weight of 3,671 lbs and 3,516 lbs. However, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia is one of the lowest in terms of ground clearance, and that would pose problems when going through the rough patches of roads.
Some of the exterior features of the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia are:
Even though the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia hasn't been crash-tested by the NHTSA yet, due to the inclusion of many advanced safety features along with impressive built quality on offer, we are pretty sure that the 2021 Giulia will ace the tests. However, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia received a good rating in almost all the subsections of the IIHS crash test.
The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia also comes with an array of advanced active and passive safety features like automated emergence braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and semi-autonomous driving mode. All the other regular features like airbags, ABS, side-impact beams, hill start assist, ESC, 360-degree camera, etc come as standard with the 2021 Giulia.
Coming in at an MSRP of $41,600, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC is one of the hottest competitors of the 2021 Giulia due to the impressive performance coupled with a spacious cabin. However, the C300 is $2,000 more expensive than the Giulia and doesn't offer the same exciting performance or driving dynamics. Nevertheless, the car is slightly more spacious than the Giulia
The 2021 Inifiniti Q50 gets a lot of things going for it. Priced at $35,550, it undercuts the 2021 Giulia by a cool $400 as well. However, the Q50 is nowhere close to the Giulia when it comes to gas mileage and performance on offer. The driving experience is also a bit lackluster. However, the 2021 Inifiniti Q50 offers more interior features as standard and come with more rear-seat space as well.
In comparison to the Giulia, the 2021 Genesis G70, which comes at an MSRP of $34,900, gets more slightly more spacious interior and more tech and features too. The G70 also looks and feels every bit premium too in comparison to the Europeans. The reliability ratings procured by the Genesis G70 is slightly superior to the Giulia as well. However, the G70 doesn't thrill the driver unlike the Giulia, and hence it is a car more tuned for comfort and not for outright driving pleasure.
The 2021 Jaguar XE managed to impress us with its decent performance, best-in-class gas mileage, and more spacious interior. Coming in at a base price of $39,900, it is also similarly priced in comparison to the Giulia, which is retailed at $39,450. However, in comparison, we found the Giulia to be a tad bit faster and thrilling to drive around corners. Hence, if you want a more rounded package, the Jaguar XE makes sense. But if you need the most fun, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia is still the way to go.
The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia turned out to be one of the best offerings of the competitive mid-size executive sedan segment due to the impeccable performance on offer from the 2L turbocharged motor coupled with excellent gas mileage and unmatched Italian styling. The interior of the Giulia was also quite impressive, although not as spacious as the likes of the 2021 Infiniti Q50 and 2021 Jaguar XE. We also found the infotainment and safety sections well covered too, with the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia. Hence if you are on the lookout for a car from the same segment, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia should not be missed out on.
