The M440i is a standalone trim on offer for the 2021 BMW 4 Series, M sport version. The starting price of this coupe car is $58,500. The 2021 BMW 4 Series as such comes with two other trim offerings, the 430i Coupe and the 430i xDrive Coupe. The latter proves to be more performance-oriented with an AWD drivetrain in place.

The 2021 BMW M440i is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-L gasoline engine. This 3.0-L engine churns out 382 hp and 364 lb-ft of peak torque and comes mated to an 8-speed automatic Steptronic gearbox. The car comes with an AWD drivetrain. The power to weight ratio of the vehicle is great and results in brisk acceleration and impressive performance. Low-end power delivery is good, but being a turbocharged engine, it struggles to perform before the turbo spools in.
