Used 2021 Maserati Levante for sale 

The 2021 Maserati Levante is available in two general configurations - Levante and Levante S with three trims for each configuration - Base, GranSport, GranLusso, with prices starting at an MSRP of $78,290. Both configurations are powered by a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 with power going to the Q4 intelligent AWD system, even the features on the three trims are the same. The difference is engine power output with the S making more power.

Maserati offers a lot of options and packages each for the trim type the base trims get GT Sport package, driver assist package, Nerissimo package [black exterior package]. The GranLusso trims come with the climate package and the GranSport trims come with the Nerissimo package and the climate package. As per stand-alone option go there are many like tow assist, 3-season tires, headliner, sound systems, and a few more.

Priced at an MSRP of $84,290, the GranLusso trim is to get of the 2021 Maserati Levante as it comes with the heated and ventilated seats, Ermenegildo Zegna silk & leather upholstery, the open pore interior wood trims along with many driver-assist features unavailable on the base Levante trim. We do recommend getting the Climate package for rear-seat heating and get the car in Nero (black) with the 20-inch dark grey Ares wheels and 3-season performance tires.

While the Levante is not the quickest or the most powerful performance-oriented luxury crossover, it certainly plays one of the better soundtracks - Car And Driver

The 2021 Maserati Levante is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 which makes 345 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. In the S variants, the engine makes 424 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. The power from both engines is managed by an 8-speed automatic which directs all the power to the Q4 Intelligent AWD system. There is also a 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 which powers the Levante GTS and David Beckham endorsed Levante Trofeo model.

The 2021 Maserati Levante does the 0-60 in 5.8 seconds which is faster than the Porsche Cayenne, however, is slower than the BMW X5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450. The Levante S variant does 0-60 in 5.0 seconds. The 2021 Levante does the quarter-mile time in 14.2 seconds with a top speed of 156 mph, the Levante S tops out at 164 mph. The Levante has a towing capacity of 5,900 pounds for both variants.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 makes the most power with 362 hp. Following this is the Maserati Levante then comes the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne both making 335 hp. The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 and the Porsche Cayenne offer the most towing capacity with 7,700 pounds.

The 2021 Maserati Levante gives EPA estimated fuel economy figures of 16 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway, and a combined 18 mpg. However, it is 5 mpg less than the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 and 2 mpg less than the Porsche Cayenne. The Levante S also gives the same fuel estimates. 

Both the Maserati Levante comes equipped with a 21.1-gallon fuel tank, which is a smaller fuel tank than the BMW X5, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450, and the Porsche Cayenne. The Levante S also comes equipped with the same fuel tank capacity as the Levante.

The interior of the 2021 Maserati Levante seats 5 occupants comfortably. The front row seats are heated 12-way power seats with 2 memory positions for the driver. The standard interior upholstery is leather and is available in many color options including an all-red interior. The front seats can option in ventilation and this adds full leather premium upholstery as well to your build. 

The Maserati Levante's GranLusso trims come with Ermenegildo Zegna leather-and-silk interior part of Zegna Package and comes in multiple colors seat ventilation and open-pore wood trim are standard features on this trim. There is also Zegna leather and fabric interior for the GranSport trim as well. The Maserati Levante comes with a cargo capacity of 20.5 cu.ft. and is lesser than the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE 450, and Porsche Cayenne.

The 2021 Maserati Levante comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen that is called Maserati Touch Control Plus and runs on a newly updated Maserati Intelligent Assistant system which is a powerful Android Automotive OS designed for Maserati. The system features navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio with a 1-year subscription, SD card reader, newly added wireless charging pad, USB ports, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The system also features Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa, and an 8 speaker sound system. Also Offered are remote connect services which bring all necessary details to your smartphone. The GranLusso and GranSport trims also come with a 14-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Audio system. There is the option to add a 17 speaker 1,280 watt Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system. It’s not easy to tell whether that 2021 Levante approaching from the other direction has a V6 or V8 engine, or which trim level it might be - Kelley Blue Book

The 2021 Maserati Levante SUV is a sculpted piece of work and its exterior design shows it. It features a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, Bi-xenon headlamps, 19-inch Zefiro aluminum wheels which can be upgraded to feature 21-inch wheels. The brake calipers on the base trim have are of a neutral color but the GranSport gets red as the standard color option.

The front fascia features the signature Maserati grille with the trident logo and the rear features dual exhausts. The GranLusso and GranSport come with their own signature fascias. When it comes to options, the Maserati offers a few the Nerissimo Package which allows for the all-black look, the GT Sport package which comes on the base adding the GranSport front and rear fascia and 21-inch wheels, red calipers sport trim.

In terms of exterior dimensions, the Maserati Levante measures 197 inches in length which is longer by 2.7 inches when compared to the BMW X5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 and 3.3 inches longer than Porsche Cayenne. It is 66.1-inches in height which 4.6 inches shorter than the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450. The 2021 Maserati Levant has a curb weight of 4,650 pounds, which is only heavier than the Porsche Cayenne. Some key exterior features are:

The NHTSA has not yet tested the 2021 Maserati Levante, hence we cannot comment on its safety ratings. The IIHS, like the NHTSA, has not yet tested the 2021 Maserati Levante as well. The 2021 Levante does come well equipped in terms of safety features.

The safety features include adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane keep assist, highway assist system, active blind-spot monitors, 360-degree surround-view camera, traffic sign recognition system, forward-collision warning plus system, and hill descent control system. However, on the base trims - Levante and Levante S  the above features are available as an optional package - Driver Assist package as an optional extra ($1700). Some key safety features include:

2021 Maserati Levante vs the 2021 BMW X5

The BMW X5 comes with less power but better performance than the Maserati Levante. The X5 also comes with better fuel economy numbers and range, and more cargo space. The biggest difference between the two is price, the BMW X5 is $16,590 cheaper than the Maserati Levante. The BMW X5 is the winner of this battle.

2021 Maserati Levante vs 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 comes with more power and better performance, better fuel economy, driving range, and much more cargo space. Like the X5, the price of the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 is $15,000 lesser and comes with one of the best interiors in the industry. The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 is the winner of this battle.

2021 Maserati Levante vs 2021 Porsche Cayenne

The 2021 Maserati Levante has more power and is better in performance too. The practicality offered by the Porsche Cayenne is more in terms of cargo space and fuel economy. Additionally, the Porsche is $10,000 cheaper as well. However, once you start adding the options on the Porsche, it raises the price very quickly and can easily make the Levante feel affordable. That said in terms of performance alone the Levante is the winner.

The 2021 Maserati Levante comes with a good amount of power and a very stylish design on the interior and exterior, including the industry-exclusive Ermenegildo Zegna interior upholstery. However, when compared to the BMW X5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 do offer more practicality and better performance at a more affordable price.
