About 2021 Maserati Quattroporte

3.7

Overall Rating

Powering the 2021 Quattroporte is the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that propels a massive 424 horses at 5750 rpm. Maserati has been hogging all the limelight with Quattroporte which adorns the Italian values along with punching performance and gobbles the pavement with the top rivals like BMW Alpina B7, Mercedes-AMG GT 53 and Porsche Panamera.

Italian manufacturer “Maserati” has a penchant for sophisticated performance and superlative luxury, which gave impetus to bring Quattroporte on roads. The manufacturer has coined the word “Quattroporte”, which itself speaks a lot about the car and unravels the single purpose to enhance the upmarket flairs. It comes with a basic engine offering of a 3.0L V6 that generates 424hp. The 2021 Quattroporte can reach a maximum speed of 179 MPH.

What's new for the 2021 Maserati Quattroporte is a 10.1-inch infotainment display that replaces the 8.4-inch display of the preceding models. However, what's the talk of the town lately is the all-new 2021 Quattroporte Trofeo that gets a bigger Ferrari-treated 3.8L V8 that can do 0-60 mph in a much quicker 4.2 seconds, as compared to the 5-second 0-60 sprint of the standard Quattroporte.

Maserati Quattroporte is ready with the recipe of different trim levels which brings the utmost choices for their buyers. Starting from the base trim S and ending the line-up with the high spec trim S GranLusso. It has variety in its portfolio. For the buyers demanding experienced 3.8-liter turbocharged V8 engine along with rear-wheel drive configuration can opt GTS GranLusso and the sumptuous buyers may go for S GranLusso which manages to strike the perfect balance between power and luxury elements.

Engine and Performance
9.0/10

"The Quattroporte is offered with six- and eight-cylinder engine options. " - Motor Trend

The exotic high brand Ferrari offers traces to the 2021 Maserati Quattroporte in its mechanical design, Isn’t it exhilarating? It is because all the Maserati engines get a supreme exhaust note from its sibling-Ferrari. Underhood, the 2021 Maserati Quattroporte offers a choice of two engine options a 3.0L Twin-Turbocharged V6 engine and a 3.8L Turbocharged V8 engine. All the trims are powered by the V6 engine except the 2021 Maseratti Quattroporte GTS.

The V6 engine of the 2021 Maserati Quattroporte pushes out 424 horsepower and 428 lb-ft torque whereas the V8 engine bashes 580 horsepower and 524 lb-ft torque. Apart from these two configurations, there is an all-new entrant on the block, the 2021 Maserati Quattroporte Trofeo. Regardless of the engine configuration you go for, all the trims of the 2021 Maserati Quattroporte get an eight-speed shiftable automatic transmission that sends power from the engine to the rear wheels of this sedan by default.
