The 2021 Porsche Macan is offered as a standalone trim and is the lone wolf for the brand in the conventional compact luxury crossover segment. Equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged I-4, the 2021 Porsche Macan is definitely a force to be reckoned with in terms of sheer driving pleasure. However, the 50 grand price tag does not help the MPG figures in any way. The ride offers 19 MPG in the city, 23 MPG on the highway, which results in a combined 21 MPG.

To make up for the mediocre MPG figures, the fuel tank capacity is on the larger side 19.8-gallons. After a full refueling stop, the ride can offer an overall combined range of 416 miles. At its best on the highway, this range can bump up to 455 miles. So, you can go from Los Angeles to San Francisco in one full tank without any issues.

The BMW X3 gets the best mpg figures, no questions asked. The Audi Q5 sits in second place with better MPG figures from last year but is still marginally behind the X3. Mercedes Benz cars are not known to be fuel-efficient in their relentless pursuit of power, but the GLC-Class actually has decent MPG figures to earn it third place on the pole.

Porsche never shares the interior space of its warriors, and the Macan is no different. As is, the Audi Q5 is the most spacious followed by the Mercedes Benz GLC-Class with its opulent cabin. The BMW X3 has the most compactly built cabin in this lineup. That being said, in-car entertainment is also important. The 2021 Macan comes with a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is loaded with tons of features. It is flanked by a 10-speaker Porsche Premium Sound System as standard. 

The screen comes with Porsche Connect as standard along with the latest addition, Apple CarPlay. Besides this, Bluetooth, WiFi Hotspot, USB, are also standard. Unfortunately, Android Auto is not offered even now which is a bummer for the price the car asks from you.
