The 2022 Q7 gets a new 21-inch-wheel package, with a fully digital gauge cluster standard on the Premium trim. Also coming in as an upgrade from last year is a bigger 10.1-inch upper touchscreen with navigation. In terms of trims, the 2022 Audi A7 still continues to bundle 3 trims- Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige as part of the package. AWD is standard on all trims. On the safety front, the 2022 A7 gains rear-seat side airbags, and an enhanced tire-pressure monitor as standard. The 2022 A7 has a similar 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds compared to the 2021 model as well, courtesy of no changes to the mechanicals. The Audi A7 gets more standard features for the 2022 model year along with a fully digital cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, an upgraded TPMS and rear-seat side airbags. That said, the trim levels remain the same, with the prices seeing a nominal hike over last year’s.
With the range starting at $69,200 for the base Premium trim, the 2022 Audi A7 tops out at $78,350 for the Prestige trim. Audi also offers a plug-in hybrid version of the A7 as well and will be launching the same soon.

Audi has decided to retain the A7's already amazing 3.0-liter V6 engine that grunts out 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque as the standard choice for all its models. Power is seamlessly transmitted to all the four wheels with its 7-speed S Tronic DCT transmission working Audi's legendary Quattro. Also, the V6 engine is twin-turbocharged to make it all the more sprightly.
The Audi A7 will be put up against set competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz CLS 450 and the Maserati Ghibli. The latter is known for outstanding luxury that comes from a nation that is known for the same, while the former is known for its excellence in engineering, and that is exactly what both aim to exceed.

However, the Audi A7 is a fine sedan itself, one that seamlessly provides performance with panache. Though it might lag a tiny bit with regard to the horses it thrusts, the torque it produces is at par with the competition. With a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 5.2 seconds and a price just within $70,000, the Audi A7 is a great deal.
Since the 2022 model of the A7 remains unchanged mechanically, the midsize sedan will perform equally well when it comes to burning greenhouse gases. The 3.0L V6 engine despite being a hulking unit manages to offer a class-leading combined fuel economy of 25 mpg. However, the relatively small gas tank lets down the Audi in terms of the overall range compared to its other German brethren.

"While the swoopy roofline suggests rear visibility will be impeded, the A7 actually has excellent sightlines all around." - Edmunds
Audi has a repute for delivering comfortable vehicles that add to the extreme performance they are packed with. The 2022 A7, just as usual, accommodates 5 adults and provides good room for comfortable seating all around. The upcoming model will be a lot more tech-laden to make the experience even more indulging.
No doubt, we can expect several other technological advancements and if lucky, we could also find massaging seats along with seat warmers. This Audi is already equipped with electronically adjustable seats which ease the change in the seating position. We wouldn't really be asking for much by expecting the above-mentioned.

A significant change that was brought around in the facelift of the current-gen Audi A7 in 2019 was with regard to the headlamps and taillights. Along with the change of the former, there happened to be a slight modification to the grille as well. And with a facelift of the taillights came a remodeled rear end of the sedan.
For 2022, Audi hasn't fiddled with the appearance of the A7, apart from adding a new design 21" Alloy wheel that adds more class and premium feel to the sedan. Standard fitment includes Audi's fantastic and famed Matrix LED headlights, with the rear lights also getting LED treatment.

When compared to its rivals, the Audi A7 Sedan is a bit longer than the Maserati Ghibli. However, the Mercedes CLS 450 is the longest car here and that translates to good high-speed straight-line stability. With a curb weight of 4332 lbs, the Audi A7 sedan is nearly 80 lbs heavier than its other heaviest counterpart. It also comes with the best ground clearance and the air suspension allows an increase or decrease in clearance as per the condition.
Audi never compromises on its safety offering on its cars and the A7 is a prime example of the same. It delivers way above standard features for its passengers' safety. With tech-aided safety features, passenger safety levels have reached a new high. The 2021 A7 was also awarded as a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS and the same can be expected for this year's model as well for when the tests are conducted. The advancements are absolutely amazing and given below are some of the many outstanding features:
At its given price point the 2022 Audi A7 sedan makes a perfect purchase option, delivering almost an equal level of luxury as its rival Mercedes-Benz does. Even in terms of performance, the Audi A7 comes out as an extremely competitive vehicle that will push its competitors in an uncomfortable spot. Being made available at about under $70,000 makes this deal a great one, and hence we recommend the same.
