Used 2022 Bentley Flying Spur for sale 

The 2022 Bentley Flying Spur will be offered with either a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 or a 6.0-liter turbocharged W12 engine or a hybrid powertrain in 2022. As part of Bentley's vision for the future, the 2022 Flying Spur will be available for the first time as a plug-in hybrid. More information on the Hybrid Flying Spur, however, will follow in a separate article. 

There is little difference between the three models in terms of features and options, thus it is just the engine that differs. A seemingly endless amount of customization options will be available for all models, as we’d expect from a brand like Bentley. Expect the same price as its predecessor, with an MSRP of $200,000.

The 2022 Bentley Flying Spur is the pinnacle of luxury and performance, with two powerful gasoline engines. The first is a 4.0-liter V8 engine capable of churning out 542 horsepower and 568 pounds of torque assisted by a turbocharger. The second engine is a 6.0-liter W12 that can generate a massive 626 horsepower and 664 pounds of torque. All-wheel drive is standard on both engines, which are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. 

The power-uprated V8 engine will propel the flying spur to a top speed of 198 mph and deliver 0-60 mph sprinting ability in just 3.5 seconds. A special set of Brembo racing brakes control the 2022 Flying Spur's huge chassis quite effectively. As well as the braking system, it's also equipped with advanced systems like ABS and stability control. Even with its heavyweight, the Flying Spur is relatively maneuverable. With its standard adaptive suspension and rear-wheel steering, the Flying Spur handles corners very well.

The Flying Spur gets rebadged Brembo racing spec brakes as part of its standard equipment. To help control all this power, an advanced level ABS with stability control is on offer that helps provide a confident driving experience. The Flying Spur handles surprisingly well considering its heft. Diving around corners is a treat in the Flying Spur thanks to a standard adaptive suspension and rear-wheel-steering system.

The last iteration of Flying Spur has a more refined engine and streamlined aerodynamics and it achieved an increase of 5% in fuel economy. We expect the same with the 2022MY. While the EPA rating for the 2022 Bentley Flying Spur has not yet been released, we would like to talk about it with respect to the 2021 model.

In the city, the Bentley Flying Spur achieves 12 mpg, while on the freeway it achieves 19 mpg and on the combined highway, it achieves 15 mpg. By virtue of the powerful engine, Bentley's low fuel economy figures are justified. In mixed driving conditions, the Bentley Flying Spur is able to travel 336 miles with a fuel capacity of 24 gallons, which is impressive. 

Most of the rivals in this segment are more or less in the same ballpark in terms of fuel economy. Although the Mercedes-Maybach S580 comes out to be slightly more efficient that's because it gets a smaller 8-cylinder engine. The Rolls-Royce Ghost's mpg figures aren't any better either.

The 2022 Bentley Flying Spur can be considered to be a top choice among luxury sedans in the current market.
