Used 2022 Lamborghini Urus Performante for sale 

Pricing for 2022 Lamborghini will be around $220,000. For 2022, no notable changes to the Urus and it is still powered by a 641-hp twin-turbo V-8 that pairs with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. From what we know so far, the Urus PHEV could hit the markets, late 2021 or early 2022. The Urus ST-X is not yet confirmed by any credible sources so we can’t comment much on that either.

While the 2022 Urus will be available as a single trim option, there are rumors that the high-performance ST-X and PHEV models might find their way into the lineup with the upcoming model year. However, if available, these models will be reviewed separately. With the base Urus, you get a number of optional packages to complement the existing feature load. Here’s a look at some of the standard features available with the super SUV. 

Additionally, Lamborghini Urus is also offered in a Pearl Capsule Edition. While it retains the essence of the base counterpart, the Pearl Capsule adds a number of pearl colors to equip the SUV with. It sports similar specifications as the base trim, but looks strikingly better and garners attention with its uniqueness.

The 2022 Urus retains its 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that pumps out 641 HP and 627 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a super-smooth 8-speed automatic transmission creating a perfect blend of performance and utility. The shifts are smooth and instantaneous and the Urus seems to have all the power one can ask for in an SUV. No surprise, Urus races from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.

That's surely enough to shame a full-fledged sports car. However, it's a Lamborghini nonetheless, and that blistering note from the rear quad-exhaust will urge you to keep it revving all day long. Moreover, soon a plug-in hybrid setup for the Sports SUV may debut.  Alongside this, a hardcore version called the ST-X is expected to be added to the lineup. Urus ST-X will definitely see a bump in horsepower and possibly a few aerodynamic add-ons.

While there is nothing much happening expected for the standard 2022 Urus, the ST-X, and the PHEV are enough of an add-on for a relatively new car from the Italian marque. However, what behavioral change the specific tuning of both the newly touted models would bring in, would be of top interest. As of now, the 2021 Urus is a handling marvel, to say the least. The full-time AWD along with air-springs at all 4 corners team up really well for optimum traction while negotiating curvy sections. Though the stuffer suspension and larger 22' inch wheels do account for some harshness.

EPA has not rated the 2022 Urus fuel economy yet. Since the SUV is mostly unchanged, the fuel economy ratings of the 2021 Urus will likely replicate. The Urus returns 12 mpg in the city, 17 on the highway, and 14 combined. The numbers speak for themselves and definitely fuel economy is not the Urus’ forte. To ease things up, the upcoming PHEV powertrain in the Urus may improve fuel efficiency. Even the existing Urus is not the best in terms of fuel efficiency but, forced induction has helped it gulp down less fuel.

Among its rivals, the Lamborghini Urus is beaten by both the Bentley and the Aston Martin in terms of fuel economy, the tank capacity is however average on the Urus, but the most efficient out of the bunch is the Bentley. If you’re the bloke who prioritizes economy in almost every purchase decision, stray away from these lots, as they are not the ones you’re looking for.

For 2022, the Lamborghini makes no changes to the already sporty and luxurious interiors of the Urus. The modern and sporty interior design along with premium creature comforts are the definitions of luxury and technology being part of the Lamborghini family. The typical 'Lamborghini" interior layout looks triking in the Urus SUV and is sprinkled with premium leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber, and brushed aluminum accents. 

On the seating front, you get performance sports seats at the front which come wrapped in microfiber and Alcantara. Along with power-adjustability and lumbar support and ventilation, the front seats offer good under-thigh support and bolstering. While they may not be the most comfortable but they do hug you tightly around fast cornering. Even the rear seat has a good height and reclines for good comfort over long journeys. Ideal for two passengers but you can squeeze in a third passenger at the back. Interestingly, you can also fold the rear seats down for added practicality.

The existing Urus is not a slouch when it comes to interior design and spaciousness. passenger volume is large enough to fit people of all shapes and sizes with a lot of empty space remaining. We’d go as far as to say that the Bentley is better in terms of interior luxury and overall seems to be the better one if interior bling is a deal-breaker for you. Thanks to its 21.75 cu-ft. of cargo area which is almost as large as the 22.5 on the Aston Martin DBX, the Urus is quite practical as well.

Perhaps, one of the main highlights of the Urus cabin is the Lamborghini Infotainment System that comes hooked with 3 TFT screens. While the instrument cluster and the climate-control functionalities get one screen each, the core infotainment needs are catered by a central touchscreen sitting atop the dash. The screen is crisp and sharp and it comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While the standard 8-speaker sound system should be enough for most buyers, audiophiles can upgrade to the bonkers 21-Speaker Bang and Olufsen audio.

Thanks to its carry-over equation from 2021, the new Urus retains its intimidating design language. Similar to the other supercars like Huracan, the Urus boasts sporty lines in an SUV avatar. However, with two new models in the pipeline, we could expect some reworked front and rear end in the slated 2022 Lamborghini Urus ST-X and PHEV models. 

.Even on the high-performance ST-X, we do expect some aggressive tweaks like even wider and bolder front fenders, broader shoulder lines, possibly black or red exterior highlights alongside unique darkened wheel designs. Change or not, the current 2021 Urus introduced first in 2019 is an absolute stunner on the streets. Its long and swoopy silhouette couples up really well with its overall muscle and aggression.

Be it the strong shoulder-line flared hips or the wide and aggressive front fender which in whole is a massive air-intake. The Urus out on the streets does look like a distinctive Lamborghini and is a head-turner for sure. As aggressive and imposing it is at the front, it equally is at the rear. Thanks to its slim LED tail lamps, quad exhaust tips, and massive rear diffuser. 

We expect the same suite of safety features to end up in the 2022 Lamborghini Urus. Supreme build quality mated with state-of-the-art safety features, the Urus becomes a fairly reassuring prospect in the high-performance luxury SUV segment. Some of the features mentioned below could end up being part of the standard kit as well, but we’re yet to get confirmation.

2022 Lamborghini Urus Vs Bentley Bentayga

In contrast to the performance inclination of the Urus, the Bentayga aligns a good blend of performance alongside the luxury of the highest class. While the Bentley SUV is not as sporty or aggressive in performance as the Lambo here, the Bentayga is far more premium and elegant than the Urus here.

The Bentley's ride is more comfortable and disciplined on the move and with a 0-60 mph run of just 4.4 seconds, it's no slouch at all. Also, while the Bentayga gets more easy-to-use infotainment layout, the Urus aces ahead with its enhanced practicality. Surprisingly though. 

2022 Lamborgini Urus Vs Aston Martin DBX

The recently launched Aston Martin DBX is a very strong proponent in the premium performance SUV for sure. Where it strikes the perfect chord is with its striking balance of about everything it stands for, unlike the pure performance-based Urus. The DBX is not only comfortable and more refined but its air suspensions also help it with some good capability.

The DBX also feels more luxurious on the inside than the Lambo alongside having the largest cargo space in the contest here. Above all lies the incredible handling and feedback of the DBX which rests somewhat between the aggression of the Urus and the effortlessness of the Bentayga.

Being a super SUV in a competitive market is tough, but with the Lamborghini badging at the front, the Urus finds it a tad bit easier to fit in. The 2022 Lamborghini Urus is available as a single trim variant, but it’s filled to the brim with class-leading features and you would have any complaints about its specification load. The basic Urus is expected to be introduced at a price of $210,000, while performance will undoubtedly not be an issue, buyers will be entitled to an opulent experience, making the Lamborghini one of the better choices in the market.
