I got this car as my first back in I believe around 2019 and I love it. The gas mileage is great, I hear it's very safe (haven't crashed it though, luckily!) and the stock radio system is pretty nice. It also hasn't had any significant problems outside of normal maintenance. I think I may have needed to have the battery replaced once and that was my most expensive repair besides tires, brakes, etc. That is with me getting oil changes admittedly less frequently than I should. My only real criticism is, as I mentioned before, the vents for the AC lead to my hands getting a bit chilly if I have it on too high. Also, the touchscreen for the radio has gotten a bit more susceptible to glare which can be a pain when I am using my backup camera. I would imagine this is due to whatever film was on it that helped with that wearing off. Neither of these should be dealbreakers though, I don't think.

The car has lasted a long time It has about 215000 miles which I'm surprised The engine light has been on since I got it at 145000 miles but is o2 sensor I need to get alignment is the downfalls I have to keep buying tires every week

My Elantra

I went to High Ridge MO and to a car lot that was right off the main highway. First I was looking at a Ford Flex but it was on flat and there was other vehicles on the parking lot that just had too high mileage. I then sought to see the Hyundai Elantra. I didn't know was the Hyundai Elantra. I seen the tinted windows..it had a nice body to it. Dented in the passenger door and a couple scratches on the alloy wheel. I took it for a test drive and it drove smoothly. The interior was nice and had no rips. There was a safety concern with the anti braking system and cigarette lighter compartment fuse was going out constantly. I think it gets somewhere around 15 to 20 miles per gallon. It had a misfire with the spark plugs and I got those changed. I didn't have to do major work to the car except fix the sway bar..tire rod and front end alignment. Other than all that which wasn't much trouble the car hasn't given me any trouble since. I consider this a great buy to be my first digital display car.

Hyundai Elantra 2011 My Choice For 2024

I have loved this car since the moment that I test drove it and it has not let me down yet. It has incredible crisp handling that is great everyday or on the tack. The exhaust sounds amazing. One of my favorite features is the drive modes. I know other cars have them, but not like this. This car can feel much like a regular elantra in eco mode getting 35 to 40 MPG or with a click of a button, hit the track "N" mode and it transforms into a corner carving beast.

This is our first Hyundai, and it is definitely an enjoyable experience. She's stylish, on the inside and out, comfortable, runs and drives beautifully, and gets great gas millage. 

Performance: 
We have the 2.0L 4Cylinder engine, with auto-stick (optional ability to drive vehicle like a manual by selecting gears, just with out a clutch.) It's very responsive, with no hesitation or delay when pressing on the gas. Has very good acceleration, and moves smoothly through the gears. Is very fun to drive with manual shifting option. 
MPG:
Definitely the best MPG I've ever had in a vehicle. We get about 30 to the gallon. 
Interior Quality:
Comfortable, easy to clean, stylish seats and interior colors. The seats lean all the way back, and are completely adjustable. Has a touch screen in dash double din, and has Android Auto and Sirius XM pre-installed. A pretty decent sound system, with an e.q. It has usb ports pre-installed for charging devices, and two cigarette lighters. The heater/AC has dual controls, so the passenger can adjust how they want there temperature and so can the driver. It has (Awesome) seat heaters. And a nice moon roof. 
Safety:
It has a back up camera, that automatically displays on touch screen when you put the vehicle in reverse, and alerts you if there is any cross-traffic approaching. 

All in all, we've loved our Hyundai Elantra. It has definitely impressed us and done a lot for the Hyundai name in our minds.

I have an Elantra and its served its purpose but has had so many problems over the years and I am struggling to figure whether I should sell and pay off and get a lease on a Tesla or keep it! If you are looking for a smooth ride this car is great but if you are looking for fuel efficiency look elsewhere.

I love this car. It has been really good to me. I just have to better take care of her/him . It's very easy to maintain but the insurance has gone through to he roof since some idiots posted videos about how easy it is to steal a key operated hyundai. Amazing car

The car is comfortable and is smooth riding. It has all the bells and whistles I need for a car. The color for me is perfect. It is a low maintenance vehicle and gets great gas mileage. I only have to pay $40 to fill the whole tank.
