Buying a large SUV without the all-wheel-drive would not make justice to the car and hence the xDrive 35i should be the preferred choice as it also features most of the necessary luxury features and some more and the higher trim elevates the price considerably. 

The 2015 BMW X5 is available with three engine options, a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine and a 4.4L 445 hp twin-turbo V8 engine, and a diesel mill producing 255 hp.
