The Audi A6 comes in three trims - the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. The Premium and Premium Plus have the option of a 3.2 liter V6 and a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine. The Prestige has the option of a 3.0 supercharged V6 and 4.2-liter V8 engine. The 3.2L engine comes with a CVT and front-wheel drive only. The other two engines come with a 6-speed automatic and the famous Quattro system.

We recommend getting the Premium Plus trim as it comes with all the good features of the Premium trim with the addition to the additional safety features available. We also recommend getting the optional Sport package and the supercharged 3.0-liter engine, so that you get the Quattro system, giving you the best driving dynamics in the industry.
The 2011 Audi A6 features a 3.2-liter V6 engine making 265 hp and 243 foot-pounds of torque. This engine is paired to a continuously variable transmission, which directs all the power to its front wheels only. Available is a 3 liter supercharged V6 which makes 300 hp and 310 foot-pounds of torque. The option of 4.2 liters V8 is available on the Prestige trim which makes 350 hp and 325 foot-pounds of torque. The two optional engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard.
The base Audi A6 does the 0 to 60 sprint with the 3.2 liters in 6.8 seconds. The supercharged 3-liter engine reduces the time of the 0 to 60 sprint to 5.1 seconds. Well equipped with the 4.2-liter engine, the sedan does the 0 to 60 sprint in 5.7 seconds. All three versions will achieve a top speed of 155 mph.
