The BMW 5 Series has been redesigned for the 2011 model year. It comes in three trims, each one gets its own engine, so we recommend selecting your trim carefully. The good news is that rear-wheel drive is standard.
The BMW 5 Series has been redesigned for the 2011 model year. It comes in three trims, each one gets its own engine, so we recommend selecting your trim carefully. The good news is that rear-wheel drive is standard, but comes with the option of all-wheel drive as well for the top two trims. The interior is stylish and spacious and received the latest styling here as well. The good news is that the interior is technology-rich, and this shows even in the safety features which are many. The BMW 5 Series comes at a starting MSRP of $45,925, bringing it into direct competition with the Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
We recommend buying the BMW 535i because it comes with a better engine and also has options which allow it to get more comfortable. We also recommend getting the available Sport Package, which improves its appearance and also offers more comfortable front row seats. When all-wheel drive is available, we do say opt for it, but this decision we will leave to you.
