We recommend buying the Land Rover LR2 as it comes with many comfort features including power-adjustable seats, perforated leather upholstery, automatic air conditioning, and even has additional features of 18-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler and that you will be panel sunroof. We also recommend getting the HSE package.

The 2011 Land Rover LR2 is powered by a 3.2 L in-line 6 engine which makes 230 hp and 234 foot-pounds of talk. The engine is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which has the feature of manual shift modes, and this directs all the power to all the wheels.

And performance testing, the Land Rover LR2 does the 0 to 60 sprint and 43 seconds and the standing quarter-mile and 16.8 seconds after which it will continue to its top speed of 124 mph. The performance is decent as this is a bit more focused on off-roading.

The most powerful of the above price is the BMW X3 and the Acura RDX, both making 240 hp. Following this is the Land Rover LR2 which makes 230 hp and then comes the Audi Q5 making 211 hp. In the performance tests, the Land Rover LR2 is the slowest of the above cars.

The 2011 Land Rover LR2 gives 15 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway, and a combined mpg of 17. Land Rover equips the small SUV with an 18.5-gallon fuel tank which gives it a range of 278 miles in the city, 407 miles on the highway, and a combined range of 314 miles. These are decent numbers from a naturally aspirated engined SUV with an all-wheel-drive system.

The most combined range is given by the Audi Q5 of 435 miles and then comes the BMWX3 giving 371 miles. Following the above two cars is the Acura RDX with 342 miles and then comes the Land Rover LR2 with 314 miles of combined range. The main reason for the big difference in range is that the Audi Q5 gives a high combined mpg and comes with a larger capacity fuel tank.

The cabin of the Land Rover LR2 can accommodate 5 occupants comfortably. The interior is typical Land Rover with lots of premium materials including perforated leather upholstery and wood. The seating position is upright in the LR2. The front row seats are power-adjustable seats and offer a good amount of lumbar support. There is also dual-zone automatic air conditioning. 

The interior has a few options, these are included in the packages. The HSE package will add driver-seat memory settings. The HSE LUX package will add premium leather upholstery. The climate comfort package adds the heating function to the front seats. The LR2 comes with a trunk space of 26.7 cu-ft which can be expanded by folding down the rear seats.

The most legroom is offered by the Land Rover LR2 in the front and in the back row, the legroom is similar to the above cars, with a difference of about an inch. The trunk space also has a small difference but the LR2 offers the least amount of trunk space.

How intuitive is the Infotainment unit of the 2011 Land Rover LR2

The LR2 comes with a 6-CD changer system with a 9-speaker audio system. There is also an audio jack. Optional extras include satellite radio and Bluetooth connectivity in the HSE package and a 13-speaker surround-sound audio system in the HSE LUX package.

The exterior of the 2011 LR2 is quite simple to describe as it is a boxy SUV, it comes with Land Rover styling which is simple with sharp lines. As it is made with the idea of being a capable off-roader, the LR comes with good ground clearance.

The exterior has a simple set of features including a rear spoiler, fog lights, a dual-panel sunroof, and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. As optional extras, there are adaptive xenon headlights, a heated windshield, and also 19-inch wheels.

In terms of dimensions, the Land Rover LR2 is shorter in length than its competition but is slightly taller than the rest. The remaining dimensions are similar to one another. The big difference comes in the form of God wait where the Land Rover LR2 is the heaviest of the above SUVs.
