It’s the heavy hitter performance car, and even in your daily life, this car can make a difference and make you feel like an elite. You can enjoy high-standard performance parts, loud exhausts, and that fast-speed run if you are in that type of a thing.

The Camaro ZL1 gets a Supercharged 6.2L V8 that makes 580 hp @6000 rpm and 556 lb.-ft @4200 rpm. This monster engine is mated to a 6-speed manual.

The Camaro ZL1 is a rear-wheel-drive car. A 6-speed automatic is optional, but the manual is recommend in order to enjoy the tremendous performance it offers. The coupe touches the 60 mph mark in 3.9 seconds and completes the quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds.

The handling of the ZL1 makes it a better streetcar. The Shelby is the quickest of the lot and does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. The quarter-mile mark also comes up in 11.5 seconds. It has the highest top speed at 190 mph. The ZL1 makes 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 185 mph. The Challenger is slower than them both, by half a second. All three cars were easy to drive and had excellent stability.

The fuel economy on the ZL1 is not at all good. Keep this car for short drives, roam around the city, and nothing more. Better, take it to a race track because that’s home. The mileage of the car is a mere 14 mpg in the city and 19 mpg out on the highway. The automatic gets even worse, with numbers like 12 mpg and 18 mpg in the city and the highway, respectively.

The GT500 has a respectable 24 mpg on the highway, the most in this comparison. The Challenger is just behind at 23 mpg, whereas the Camaro stands last. Fuel tank capacities stand at 19 for the ZL1, 19.5 for the Challenger, and 16 for the GT500, the lowest of them all. Even so, the range on the ZL1 is disappointing at 226 miles and 361 miles in the city and on the highway, respectively. The Challenger has the best figures at 273 miles (city) and 448 miles (highway).

The interior on the ZL1 nods to the old school cars with its retro touches in the car, but the car's interior is pretty modern overall. The overall finish levels are good, and you’ll see a lot of use of hard plastics, but it all drowns in the neatness.

However, it can do with better finishing, and the insides are not as useful as that of the rivals. The coupe comes with a cargo capacity of 11.3 cubic feet.

The seating in the ZL1 is both good and bad. The front seats are excellent in comfort, and they offer great support. The backseat, however, is not good for anyone more than 4 feet in height. There’s simply not enough legroom, and everything is cramped in the back. The one common problem, however, is the low roofline which restricts headroom as well. The low roofline coupled with the thick pillars hampers the visibility as well. There is no storage space enough for anything sizable, maybe at most, you can keep backpacks.
