Sedans like Malibu are particularly built to provide a comforting and effortless ride, and it does the job pretty well. Road and wind noise are things you're only distantly aware of in Malibu's cabin. Its 2015 iteration is blessed with an unusually upscale cabin by segment standards, at least in terms of design.
The dashboard's graceful curves are complemented by a tasteful smattering of metallic accents. The materials are most impressive as well, with ample soft-touch surfaces, though some of the buttons and stalks have a less substantial feel than we'd like.

Hyundai scores again with a comparatively larger cabin than the Malibu. While all vehicles occupy a maximum of 5 passengers, rear row seating is more established in the Ford Fusion and the Toyota Camry. On the contrary, Malibu falls short of legroom despite the enhancements which came by in 2014. In terms of practicality, almost all the sedans here a similar boot enough to hold luggage for up to two people for a weekend trip to the countryside.

New for this year, Chevy adds 4G LTE connectivity to OnStar, which also now allows owners to establish a WiFi network in their vehicles. Standard equipment on all Malibus includes cruise control, AM/FM/CD audio with steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, keyless entry, and tilt and telescopic steering.
To get Bluetooth, USB input, and satellite radio, you'll have to move up to the mid-level LT, which also includes Chevrolet MyLink and a 7.0-inch touchscreen, and this year adds Siri Eyes Free mode.
