The Vehicle Color, How It Handles On The Highway
Transmission, A noise it makes
Overal I liked the vehicle. Nissan just needs to get the transmission issues resolved and stand behind its vehicles this vehicle has good pick up on the highway but it burns way too much gas. The leg room is awesome and the trunk space is fantastic
The 2015 Nissan Murano is all new for this year as it enters its third generation. The exterior design is revamped and is now more edgy and caters to the modern norms for attractiveness
The new Nissan Murano comes with a good engine, specifically a 3.5 liter V6 and comes with a front-wheel-drive, and has the option of an all-wheel-drive. It only comes with a continuously variable transmission which puts you at ease while driving. The interior is upscale and has the option to feature leather and even has interior ambient lighting. It comes into direct competition with The Ford Edge, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Hyundai Santa Fe.
The Nissan Murano comes in 4-trim levels. The base trim level comes with all the basics and as you go higher up in the trims you will get more upscale features. All the trims have a 3.5-liter V6 engine which is good for 260 hp and the power goes to the front wheels or all the wheels, depending on the drivetrain you select. There are plenty of options available for customization.

We recommend purchasing the SV trim which adds a few more comfort and technology features to the SUV. Also available is the premium package which we do not recommend adding on because it only includes a panoramic sunroof and the Bose sound system.
The Nissan Murano is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 making 260 hp and 240 foot-pounds of torque. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) which directs all the power to the front wheels or all the wheels, depending on the drivetrain you select.
In the performance tests, the Nissan Murano does the 0 to 60 sprint in 7.2 seconds and the standing quarter-mile in 15.5 seconds and will then continue to its top speed of 130 mph. This Nissan is a daily driven SUV, these numbers are not important, but are good to know.

The most combined range is offered by the Jeep Grand Cherokee of 541 miles. Following this is the Nissan Murano with 456 miles, the Ford Edge with 432 miles, and then comes the Hyundai Santa Fe with 394 miles. The big difference of the vehicles is between the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the rest is the fuel capacity which makes the difference.
The Nissan Murano can seat five occupants in the cabin comfortably. The front row seats by the standard are a 6-way manually adjustable driver seat and a 4-way manually adjustable front passenger seat. The SV trim gets an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat and a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. The frontest legroom space is offered by the Ford Edge with 42.6-inch. Then comes the Hyundai Santa Fe with 41.3-inch of front legroom, the Nissan Murano with 40.5-inch, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee with 40.3-inch. In the rear legroom, the Nissan Murano offers the least amount of space with the Hyundai Santa Fe offering 41.3-inch.
The base S trim gets a 7-inch touchscreen which can be upgraded to an 8-inch touchscreen with the help of the Navigation Package. The system comes with the basics of smartphone app integration, a 6-speaker sound system, CD player, satellite radio, navigation, and iPod interface.

The exterior of the Nissan Murano has a contemporary look and does not look like a bulky SUV. The roof is slightly curved in the rear, the B and C pillars come in black and there is a kick in the waistline of the SUV, giving it a more modern aesthetic. The grille is similar to the “V-motion” grille seen on a Nissan Concept car, it is quite nice to look at.
Other features include automatic headlights, LED taillights, a lip spoiler, deep-tinted glass, black grille with chrome surrounds and 18” wheels on the base, and 20” alloy wheels on the platinum trim. The wheel designs are fixed so there are no options there, but there are plenty of options and accessories present for the exterior.

The Nissan Murano is quite similar in dimensions to the other SUVs. It does ride a bit lower than the Jeep Grand Cherokee too. However, the big difference can be seen in curb weight.
