Overall Rating
As is the case with any Rolls-Royce ever made, the Wraith too exudes opulence, grandeur, and grace from every nook and corner of the car.
As is the case with any Rolls-Royce ever made, the Wraith too exudes opulence, grandeur, and grace from every nook and corner of the car. It is a Roll-Royce for anyone who wants to be the one driving it and yet does not want to compromise one bit on the luxury and comfort levels of their ride. The coupe body style also gives the brand a more youthful appeal and caters to the younger or more enthusiastic generation of billionaires.
With no trims to choose from, the only aspect to look out for is the added options packages and the customization, both of which hike the prices exponentially. And if you have any sort of budget for the car, it is better to keep an eye on the final price before you go crazy over the available options.

The Rolls-Royce brand does not cater to budget-minded buyers, obviously, and hence there are no points to guess that there aren’t any trims available. Most of the available features are all baked right into the car, and the exhaustive list of additional features and customization is something that attracts even more customers to the showroom as compared to the other brands.

The Wraith coupe is powered by a 6.6-liter BMW sourced twin-turbocharged V12 engine which generates a whopping 624 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the power is sent to only the rear wheels, with no AWD available even as an option.
The performance is astonishingly quick for such a heavy car as the 0-60 mph sprint is achieved in just over 4 seconds while the quarter-mile drag run is done only in 12.5 seconds.

The Bentley Continental GT may have a lower engine output as compared to the Wraith, but the performance is quicker than the RR, and it also costs much less. The Aston Martin is even more cheaper than the other two and is only marginally slower than the Rolls. Only the Continental GT can break the 200 mph barrier, but that too if you find a road or a track that is long enough for that.
The large turbocharged engines under the hood of a power cruiser GT car can never be very frugal, and no Rolls-Royce buyer would ever break a swear about that as well. Still, for the sake of automotive journalism, the Wraith has been rated by the EPA for 13 mpg of city driving and 21 mpg of highway runs, but both of these are expected to be even lower in real-world conditions and fall further lower when driving spiritedly.

The Continental GT too has almost identical fuel economy figures as that of the Wraith but employs a much larger gas tank that aids in offering a longer driving range. The DB9 GT also has a similar fuel economy, but the smaller fuel tank translates to a much shorter driving range which means frequent trips to the gas station.
The cabin is where the magic happens in any Roll-Royce, and although almost all the competitors are best crafted for rear-seat comfort, the Wraith provides more value at the front.
Handbuilt in Goodwood, England, the Wraith continues with the tradition of crafting the finest automotive interiors money can buy and then personalizing it further to the individual tastes of the buyer. There is no need to speak about the materials quality, fit and finish, and the available features and creature comforts, as all of them are just the best, period.

There is also a large trunk of offer in the Wraith, which is a rare sight for a coupe, but Roll-Royce understands the needs of its buyers and hence does not compromise in this aspect as well. It is also the most spacious in this comparison as the Aston Martin DB9 GT offers the tightest cabin and smallest boot. Major interior features include-
Under the ownership of BMW, the Roll-Royce brand has benefited in the infotainment aspect, as it offers a slick operating system that is specifically designed for the Roll-Royce. The Bespoke audio system is unlike anything that one might have heard before, and the latest technologies that one expects from their over a quarter-million-dollar car are all there. A head-up display inside brings in more sophistication to the car and makes driving hassle-free. Major infotainment features include-
Just like its interior, the exterior of a Roll-Royce also exudes poise and grandeur, and the Wraith is an exception to the Roll-Royce lineage as it also provides a sense of sporty boyish charm.
All the while keeping the Roll-Royce roots intact with the signature large vertical slat grille which acts as the base for the ‘Spirit of Ecstasy' hood ornament, sleek headlamps, and high bonnet. Things change at the rear end, with the coupe roofline and only two doors on offer.

The Wraith may only be a 2-door coupe, but the car isn’t compact in any way. It is the largest one in this comparison and probably the longest coupe on sale today in the market. It is also the heaviest one which justifies the slower performance despite higher engine output. The Aston Martin, on the other hand, is a compact, light-weight, agile GT car. Major exterior highlights of the Rolls-Royce are-
There are no chances of Rolls-Royce ever letting their much-coveted cars be crash-tested by any of the testing agencies just for the sake of getting a numeric rating. In fact, it would be a shame to let that happen. Also, considering the fact that many of the who’s who of the world travel in a Roll-Royce on a daily basis, doubting its safety standards would be like doubting the performance of a Buggati. Few salient safety features of Wraith include-
The Roll-Royce Wraith is another ultra-premium offering from the world’s most premium carmaker, and although many reviewers compare it with different cars, frankly speaking, there isn’t a single car that comes even close to a Rolls-Royce. Sadly, Rolls-Royce also does not let just any random millionaire buy their cars, and if you are one of the lucky few who can fulfill their dream of buying one, rest assured that experience would not be anything less than extraordinary.
