Toyota has gradually become omnipresent in almost all the segments of the automobile industry and has been doing it successfully too. The Toyota Sienna minivan is one example that shows the brand’s capability to make appealing family movers.
The Toyota Sienna is offered in a total of seven trim levels with seven and eight passengers configuration. The engine option is limited with a single V6 motor and FWD is the standard drivetrain layout, however, there is an available AWD layout as well. The trim levels start off with the base L trim that is priced at $28,700 and comes with a host of generous standard features barring the manually-operated rear sliding doors which can be cumbersome to operate sometimes. The LE trim eliminates the need for manual rear door operation with a power-operated unit and further adds an eight-way power driver seat, upgraded fabric upholstery, second-and third-row sunshades, and a six-speaker sound system. The XLE trim adds a power opening rear quarter window that comes in handy in various situations. The range-topping Limited Premium offers a plush experience with auto-dimming and power-folding outside mirrors, front and rear sunroofs, front and rear parking sensors, upgraded leather seating, driver memory settings, a heated steering wheel, and a power-folding third-row seat.

The Toyota Sienna minivan is powered by a standard V6 motor. The unit is good for a maximum of 266 horsepower and 245lb-ft of maximum torque. The engine is a pleasant one with a strong acceleration and power delivery. The only downside of the powerplant is its tendency to get vocal under hard acceleration, but hey we don’t floor the gas pedal of a minivan very often except for any urgency so it is not a huge concern. The motor doesn’t run out of steam even when you’re carrying 8 passengers on the van. The van can accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour within 7.5 seconds, an impressive number for a minivan. The six-speed automatic transmission also does a great job and keeps the motor from working too hard at any situation.

The infotainment system has been given special attention since it is a full-fledged family mover. The exterior design update makes the Sienna look a lot more fresh than before with subtle yet elegant detailing and a new front grille design. The overall design language retains the curvy and bulky appeal along with the sculpted lines running from the front fenders to the rear ones. The rear end looks quite stylish too with an unconventional tail light design.
