The Audi A8 L gets a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 power plant that churns out 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. In the 4.0 L trim the Audi A8 gets a twin-turbo 4 liter V8 making 450hp and 444lb-ft of torque.

Both engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The power is distributed to all wheels via Audi's advanced Quattro all-wheel-drive technology.

The Audi isn't the most powerful car in the lot. Only the German rival of the A8, the BMW 740i Sedan makes less power than it at 320hp. The Jaguar XJ makes 340 hp and the Cadillac CT6 Sedan makes 335hp.
