That’s not all, a lot of effort has been put into the aerodynamics of this car. The underbody has been designed to suck air from beneath the car and keep it glued to the tarmac. The air ducts and front splitter reduce drag with greater aerodynamic efficiency and also increase downforce. The aerodynamics contribute a lot to the car's handling as well.
The 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB Coupe measures 15.7-inches and 14.2-inches for front and rear rotors respectively. As we do not know the exact dimensions of the interior of the Ferrari or some of its competitors we cannot comment on the dimensions, but we reckon that the Ferrari is on par with the idea read and offer similar legroom and headroom.
The Ferrari 488 GTB doesn't have a screen installed in the dashboard to call out an infotainment system instead it has 2 LCD monitors on each side of the rev meter behind the steering wheel which is double up as the infotainment screens. The system by default has navigation, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi hotspot and even then we connected to your iPhone via Apple CarPlay. There are two options for the infotainment system: the first one Ferrari racing telemetry system and the second one replaces and upgrades the 6-speaker sound system to a 12-speaker premium sound system.
The 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB could come with an 8.1 cu-ft drunk located in the front of the car as the Ferrari 488 is a mid-engined car. This space is enough for a couple of duffle bags, Ferrari does offer luggage specifically to fit in the trunk of the car.

The Ferrari GTB is similar to the other cars above in terms of dimensions. However, the Ferrari is of similar weight to the McLaren 570S which is in the middle of the lightest and the heaviest of the above cars but is more towards the lighter side of the scales.
Neither IIHS nor NHTSA ratings are available for the 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB. Ferrari 488 GTB comes with the mandatory ESC and Driveline Traction Control systems along with a low-tire warning system. In addition to a backup camera and several airbags for the driver as well as the passengers, the 488 GTB flaunts front and rear parking sensors. Some of the safety features in the 2017 Ferrari 488 are:
The Ferrari 488 GTB is better than the new Audi R8 in almost every comparison from performance to range to curb weight. The Ferrari is better. However, when it comes to price, the Audi R8 is nearly $60,000 cheaper than the Ferrari, making it a good alternative to the 488 GTB.
Being $10,000 cheaper than the Ferrari, the Huracan shares a lot of its mechanical parts with the Audi R8 including the engine. However, the Lamborghini Huracan has its own way of tuning the car, giving it its own uniqueness. But, for a 10,000 difference, we would pick the Ferrari.
If two Formula 1 teams are competing this would be a good competition. The Ferrari is better than the McLaren in every manner, the performance is similar, both offer a lot of options to truly customize the car and each is unique in style as well. But, the McLaren 570S is cheaper by nearly 50,000 dollars making this a very good option, and an option we would go for. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong with either of the cars.
The twin-turbocharged 3.9 liter makes 660 hp, the most powerful of the above cars, and is that it is faster than them too. The Ferrari 488 GTB however, is not just about speed it is also about being enjoyable to drive on a curvy mountain road and that’s where it calls home. The interior is comfortable and comes with many luxurious features and options. Even though there is not a proper infotainment system, it still has the basics to give you some entertainment and you are driving a Ferrari, you are not going to need entertainment.
