The Lexus LX 570 is a massive SUV specially designed to go places where no one dares without sacrificing comfort. It has wide body capable of taking a family of 8 wherever you want with comfort. We recommend
There is nothing to recommend since the LX570 does not offer any trim levels. Well, the LX570 is well equipped so it really doesn't need anything but if you can afford it go for the Luxury package and bigger 21-inch wheels as it will increase its Luxury and off-road capabilities.
The 2107 LX570 features a massive 5.7l V8 engine which produces 383 hp and 403 lb.-ft. of torque paired with 8-speed automatic transmission.
The 383 hp engine with greater torque output combined with all-wheel drivetrain allows it for extreme off-roading. The LX 570 also performs great on roads as well, but its massive power output reduces its fuel efficiency.

When it comes to the competition Lexus is not the best option out there, as the Cadillac ESV takes the best in the class position featuring 6.2L 420 hp engine followed by the Infiniti QX60 while the Mercedes GLS gets the last position. The LX570 might not be the best or the fastest but it's powerful enough to push the competitors to the edge.
The Lexus LX570 races from 0-60 mph in 7.0 sec and does a quarter mile in 15.3 sec. Obviously, the LX570 is not the fastest but for a vehicle that weighs 6000 lbs, it's quite impressive. Compared to its competitors the Lexus LX570 is the slowest in its class but it's satisfactory.

As for the competition the Cadillac Escalade takes the lead followed by the GLS450 and the infinity lagging a bit behind. The Cadillac and Infiniti sure performed up to the expectations but the GLS showed some exceptional performance thanks to its lighter body and awesome performance.
The LX570 features massive 13.9-inch front and 13.6-inch rear ventilated front and rear disc brakes. Well for a big boy like the LX you need some massive brakes as well. Unlike others the LX is not designed to stop the moment you go hard on the brakes while driving at 60 mph due to its massive body size and weight but off the tracks the braking is powerful as well as way responsive and has a braking distance of 118 feet.

The LX 570 also has a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system, stability control, traction control and emergency braking assist for safety. In competition the Cadillac has the biggest brakes just like its massive engine but has the longest stopping distance. The LX 570 is the best performer here while the others aren’t too far behind here.
The LX570 has some good driving reviews. The LX570 rules the road but can also conquer any type of terrain. It has a massive body so creates a bit of body roll at great speed, but drive it in the city and you feel nothing except precise steering controls, smooth cornering and a roaring V8. The LX570 features electric steering with adaptive cruise control and has awesome sound insulation.
The Massive 6000 lbs body keeps the 570 well planted and the 4-wheel drive provides awesome control and grip over the vehicle, which makes it perfect for off-roading while its independent suspension takes care of the rest. The LX570 is not a good runner and is rather slow than others but it has superior off-roading capabilities and also handles daily commute easily.
The LX570 is a 6,000lbs SUV that can tow up to 7,000 lbs. It also has a feature called automatic load leveling that helps the car to adjust the suspension for easier mobility as per surface or speed or drive mode. The LX 570 being the most comfortable is the heaviest and the least capable here.

Compared to the competition it is nothing at all and it could have done better if it had a lighter body. The Infinity on the other hand leads the segment and can tow up to 8,500 lbs of weight which is way better than the Cadillac which is supposed to be the strongest. The Mercedes too offers a better towing capacity as that of the Lexus.
The LX570 is a powerful SUV and is capable of going anywhere you can drive, it is good in everything it has or does except the fuel economy it offers. You can go literally anywhere but it will be a bit pricey or you might take a lot of stops for refueling. The LX570 offers an average mileage of 13 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway and a combined mileage of 15 mpg as per the EPA ratings.

No doubt that more powerful cars or even some supercars have better fuel economy but they can go everywhere so it works. The LX570 is the least fuel economy in the whole class, but the same goes for others. The Mercedes GLS has the best in class fuel efficiency but it's not that great either while the Cadillac ESV offers the largest fuel tank that aids in the driving range.
The LX570 has a tough interior but is way comfortable inside, you can also call it a luxury family sedan.
The LX570 comes standard with leather wrapped 10-way driver and 8-way passenger power seats with multi level heating, lumbar support and adjustable height, as for the rears it has split folding third row seat backs and can easily accommodate up-to 8-people.

The LX570 is filled with soft touch materials, and it's pretty functional as well. The Driver side door is mounted with seat, door and windows controls as the center console is filled with several high-quality buttons for easy access to several features. The LX570 has a highly customizable interior to suit the customer preference and match their luxury standard.
The LX570 comes standard with an in-dash HD infotainment display with satellite radio, AM/FM stereo, USB connectivity, a set of 9-speakers, Auxiliary audio input and speed sensitive volume control.
The LX570 features 15.5 cubic foot of standard cargo space which can be extended up to 83.1 cubic foot of massive cargo volume thanks to the split folding second and third row seats. The LX also features a power liftgate for easier access and comes with an additional spare tire. The Cargo space is highly customizable to adjust it as per requirements.

The Cadillac Escalade has the biggest cargo area in the whole class, probably the biggest you have ever heard, from a standard 38.3 cubic foot to 120.9 cubic foot, it is more like a midsize van with a V8. The Merced has the smallest cargo area in the whole class but its standard volume is better than that of the LX570.
In terms of exterior designing and body style there is not much change than the older models but it has a sturdy looking body with probably one of the biggest grills around.
The LX570 gets 100% LED lights from the headlamps to the indicators. The 570 is an aggressive looking vehicle combined with LED lights, huge body size, big grille and chrome finish give it a very elegant look.

The LX570 is 199.4-inch long and 78.0-inch wide with 73.4-inch body height which turns out to be a tank on 4 wheels. The massive body size spares a lot of cabin space to have fun with. It has 8.9 inch of ground clearance with 112.2 inch of wheelbase that enable it to handle extreme off-roading.
The LX 570 is well equipped with high-end safety features, in such a way that it provides equal safety to all three rows. The LX570 comes standard with blind spot monitoring system, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning system, adaptive suspension, 360-view cameras, dusk sensing headlamps and pre-collision warning system.
The LX570 is also equipped with dual front/rear-side mounted airbags with passenger airbag occupant sensing deactivation, first, second and third row airbags anti-theft alarm system, 4-wheel abs, daytime running lights, traction control, stability controls, engine immobilizer, emergency braking assist and post collision braking system. None of the features are rated by either NHTSA or the IIHS.
The Cadillac ESV is a $76,590 SUV and is bigger than the LX570. The 420hp massive V8 with 0-60 mph in 5.7 sec makes it more powerful and better performer than the LX. Not only that it has better fuel economy, more spacious interiors, and bigger cargo area and is still 270lbs lighter than the LX 570 and can also tow up to 8100 lbs which surpasses the LX in several ways.
But unlike the Cadillac, the LX570 is a multi-purpose SUV and is not limited to the smooth looking shiny roads. It might not be as spacious as the Cadillac but is way more Luxurious. Fuel economy might be a problem but for a luxury SUV owner 83.1 cubic foot of cargo volume is more than enough unless you want to put another car into it.
The Infiniti QX80 also comes in a group of luxury SUVs. Despite being way cheaper than the LX the QX80 is rather luxurious and is on par with the LX570 when it comes to off-roads capabilities. The QX80 sure has advantages over fuel economy, cargo volume, engine performance, towing capacity and is way more affordable but it has its own drawbacks.
The QX80 is more likely to be on the retro side as the LX570 is more of a modern SUV. Compared to the LX570 the QX80 is way less functional and comfortable, the QX80 is a bit slow when it comes to technologies, it is comfortable, it is powerful, it is efficient but it is old.
The LX570 is a Luxury SUV that can take you anywhere with your family. Its fuel economy is its major drawback and that is all. The LX is a well-equipped family SUV that can easily handle daily commute with ease. The LX 570 is also equipped with several hi-end features to support off-roading, long rides, camping or business purposes.
There is no doubt that Lexus LX570 is a reliable car and also has low cost of ownership. Even without any other trim levels the LX570 is highly customizable in order to make it more luxurious or suitable to one's taste. When it comes to competition the LX570 might have few drawbacks but when it comes to its real purpose it rules, as the LX is the most capable, reliable, versatile and luxurious SUV of all.
