3.7

Overall Rating

The 2018 Cadillac CTS-V comes equipped with a 6.2-liter Supercharged V-8 engine making 640hp and 630 lb-ft of torque and can do the 0-60 sprint in 3.7 seconds. It comes with a lot of performance-focused comfort and luxuries like Recaro seats on the inside and carbon fiber on the exterior all this comes in an MSRP of $87,490.

The Cadillac CTS-V is the high-performance version of the Cadillac CTS. The CTS-V comes with a supercharged V-8 engine which is also found in the Corvette Z06 and it produces 640hp and 630lb-ft of torque and the power goes to the rear wheels. On the inside, it has performance-focused luxury with a lot of technology. This car comes with a base price of $87,490 and is all set to compete against its rivals - the Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 S, the BMW M5, and the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.

The CTS-V is offered in a single trim only. But there are optional packages to impart an even luxurious in-cabin experience. You can opt for the Luxury Package that comes with heated seats and rear climate control. We would also recommend testing both the normal and Recaro sport seats, as comfort levels vary. Recaro being a very attractive option to upgrade your interior but, when it comes to seats we say test before you buy.

Cargo

The Cadillac CTS-V has a trunk volume of 13.7 cubic feet and is about average for this segment. The trunk is good enough to hold your everyday groceries, a few suitcases, or even your track day race suit and helmet. Unfortunately, the rear seats do not fold down and are fixed to add rigidity to the chassis, so if you have anything that does not fit in the trunk will have to take its place on the back seat.
